Park Reservations

How is everyone making out with park reservations?

I had a bit of a challenge on Monday. I started with the reservations for the October trip as I was coordinating with others. I could only make reservations for 3 days which is the max for AP holders without a resort reservation. I was able to make Jen's for dates (we are sharing a room). We are meeting Abby and her husband, they had no issues getting park passes for the whole week.

There were several people in the FB passholder groups I belong to that had the same issue. I tried calling all day and couldn't get through. I knew from FB that it was a known issue and was being worked on. Around 9:00 the issue was resolved and I was able to make all my park reservations for 2020.

Well we had no issue making our reservations for Sept, got the whole weeks worth but I was trying to book our Jan 2021 trip and couldn't do it on line and couldn't get through on the DVC line either it had a busy signal and started ringing at the same time.

We, unfortunately, canceled our July 4-11 trip yesterday. The COVID numbers in Florida are just too high and keep rising. I've been in contact with a cast member friend and she said it is bad, really bad down there. Plus we were worried about just driving down, where we would eat and everything. We are just going to play it safe and wait it out. Disney is not going anywhere!

I booked trips for January and April and had no issues making park reservations.

I don't blame you for canceling.

I can't even attempt to make reservations until June 28 but even then, I'm not sure if I would be able to so far out or if it will be a 7 day out like the fastpass system.

I don't have park tickets for September so I haven't given it a go yet. Still just sort of holding my breath.

I don't blame you at all for canceling your July trip. It always sucks to do, but your health is so much more important. Katie keeps telling me not to go in September, she's starting to get pretty worried. I'm taking the wait and see approach for now because so many things can change in 2 months.

Kristen, we still have our trip booked for Sept also. Just going to wait and see what happens too!
