Please Help Me Decide

Cj and I have an adult only trip planned for March 5-9, 2012 - it's our DisneyMoon!

Originally we were going to stay at the Polynesian because it is our absolute favorite resort AND we are DVC members and already had trips booked for June and October 2012, so we did not have points for March. Due to some recent job happenings, this is no longer financially sensible, so I cancelled our June trip and we are now using those points for March. our home resort is Bay Lake Tower but it is not available for March. We only want a studio room since it is just the 2 of us. These are the options I was given:

animal kingdom lodge; jambo house or kidani. Both with a savanna view.
saratoga springs
old key west
wilderness lodge

We have already stayed at saratoga springs, in the congress park section and we liked it a lot. We stayed in a 1 bedroom at animal kingdom lodge in jambo house this past June. We had a pool view and we really enjoyed it. We have never stayed at the wilderness lodge, but we eat at whispering canyon often, lol. We have never been to old key west at all, but a friend of mine stays there all the time and loves it

Since I had to make a decision I chose animal kingdom lodge jambo house based primarily on the facts that the pool is bigger, there is quick service there and 2 restaurants. However, now I am thinking maybe we should try a place we never stayed? I would love your thoughts please biggrin

Have you stayed at Jambo House that has a savannah view? If you haven't, then this might be considered to be "new".

Zz is right about the Savanna view, after that I would go with OKW, and then WL.
and Congrats on the Disneymoon.

WILDERNESS LODGE!!!!!! Especially if you've never stayed there before. Try something new! It's beautiful and very relaxing. You truly feel like you are transported to the Pacific Northwest. The pool is great and there are a lot of activities. There's a Water Pagent everynight around 9:20. There is counter service at "Roaring Fork" which is great and "Artist Point" & "Whispering Canyon" have delicious meals. The atmosphere is so layed back there too. LOVE IT!!!

I think you're going to Disney, you can't go wrong! If you're not bored with AKL, I vote for AKL Jambo house. If you try something new, go for Wilderness Lodge!

I recommend the Wilderness Lodge. The boat ride over to Magic Kingdom is very romantic at night. If you can time it right, you can leave Magic Kingdom and watch the nightly fireworks from the boat!
As well, Artist Point is an amazing restaurant.

What is your favourite theme park to visit? You can always book your resort based on location if you're stuck.

Hmmmmmm, now I have lots to consider because our favorite park is MK. We're 'used' to the area where WL is located and we have never stayed there.....
