Pool Time with Large Groups

Have any of you ever spent pool time with a group when not everyone was staying at the same hotel?

We've got a room booked at the Wilderness Lodge and I want to have people come over and swim/eat/use the bar with us. I don't think that it's going to be a problem, but I also know that pool hopping is frowned upon these days.

There are about 20 people total and 8 of them are registered in a Wilderness Lodge Room. Do you think we'll have an issue at all? I'm hoping that we don't but I was curious if anyone has any experience with this.

I've never tried so I don't know the answer, but could you add them to a reservation without extra cost? Then it would be no problem Smile

I'm doing that with 3 of them, but that's my limit as far as adding them onto the reservations.

My thought is that no one is going to notice an extra 10 people at a huge pool like Wilderness Lodge. We're going to be there around dinner time, so I don't think it will be crazy crowded, also I'm sure we'll be buying rounds at the bar. Not everyone will be swimming either, probaly just the kids. I think we'll be ok.

Instead of hoping it will be OK, why not plan a day at one of Disney's waterparks?

That's not really an equivalent to what we are looking for by any stretch.
This is more a low key dinner poolside (1-2 hours max time) with the possibility of a dip.

Maybe I'll call down to the resort tomorrow.
