Proposing at Disney World.

Proposing at Disney World.

Obviously I'm not asking how for myself, as I am already married....but I wanted to know your ideas of proposing at WDW. There *may* be a reason I'm asking Wink ;)

I have been googling lots and spending copious amounts of time on YouTube getting ideas. I wandered if the wonderful friends on here might have some good ideas of a public proposal (not private, he doesn't think she would want that haha)

So far I have...

Dapper Dan sing a special song, though this idea has since been vetoed when realising they make the guy sing too Wink

On one knee on Main Street in front of a photopass photographer with castle in the back ground.

And that's about it. Anyone else have some good ideas?

My fiance dropped to one knee while I was talking to Aladdin and Jasmin....I turned back around and he was there on one knee with the photopass photographer. After he proposed the photographer told us to come back once the characters were done their meet and greet, they took us to a private area done up like Agraba (sp?) and took a bunch of photos for us with and without Aladdin and Jasmine. The photo part wasn't pre planned disney did that on the spot, but I imagine they would do the same for anyone.

The cast member characters were almost more surprised than I was...one candid pic has Jasmin gasping and tearing up in the back ground...it was pretty awesome!

Its so cute and the girl is totally amazed.

Does she have a favorite ride?? Maybe the Jungle Cruise director or the driver from the Harambe tours could be in on the gig and work it into the show?

I'd personally love to be proposed to in front of the castle, but I think there must be a million creative ways to propose at Disney. Now, just need to work on finding Prince Charming....

My cousin was proposed to at Cinderella's royal table. They brought out a glass slipper with Happily Ever After on it and the ring was inside. All the princesses were there too!

I'm not sure she has a favourite ride, she has a favourite character though... And there is a meet spot in MK with that character... Might be another suggestion Wink

If I could figure out how to arrange it, I think it would be awesome to do it as part of the rope drop opening ceremony. Just "randomly" get selected as the ones to open the park up top of the train station and drop to one knee there, in front of everyone.

Proposing in front of her favourite character would be ideal i reackon, there would be a photopass photographer on hand to capture the event. And if it's in a meet spot where there are other characters, they would prob come over as well. Let us know how it goes laugh
