Ranking the Thrill Rides

Ranking the Thrill Rides

So I wanted to do a fancy ranking poll on this. But I'm not sure I'm smart enough. We'll try it another time.

We were talking about rides you don't agree on, and different people consider different rides to be the the most intense. Let's rank the rides, least to most intense. Here's the list in no particular order:

Tower of Terror
Rock'n'Roller Coaster
Everest
Space Mountain
Mission Space
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Splash Mountain

There are a couple I haven't ridden, so I'll n/a them. But here's my list, from LEAST to MOST:

1. BTMRR
2. Space Mountain
3. Splash Mountain
4. RnRC
5. ToT
6. Mission Space n/a
7. Everest n/a

ToT is most intense to me, and, for me, therefore, my least favorite, because I HATE DROPS. I can handle anything except for that. That's probably why I agree with Brad that Splash Mountain is sort of daunting.

What's your ranking?

Here is how I rank them as far as the thrill factor goes from least to most
1. Mission Space
2. Space Mountain
3. Splash Mountain
4. BTMRR
5. TOT
6. Everest
7. RnRC

RnRC is also my least favorite. The take off sucks the breath right out of me and I do not like that feeling. The others are not rated in order of my favorites though.

Heres mine:

1. Tower of Terror
2. Rock'n'Roller Coaster
3. Splash Mountain
4. Space Mountain
5. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
6. Everest n/a
7. Mission Space n/a

I havent ridden Everest or MS, so I cant rate them... but plan on remedying at least Everest in November. ToT is my favorite ride period.

Ohh fun!!! I love thrill rides..so this one is going to be tough for me. From least thrilling to the most....

1. BTMRR
2. Space Mountain
3. Everest (I don't know why..but I like Roller Coasters..but the drops are more terrifying for me..that's why this ranks here)
4. Mission Space
5. RnRC
6. Splash Mountain
7. ToT...most intense..but OH my favorite!

It looks to me that Universal has Disney beat in thrill rides....
So far the only good ones I have found at Disney was Rockin Roller Coaster and Mission Space was ok.

I cant wait to ride the incredible hulk!

From MOST to LEAST:

1. Rock n Roller Coaster Starring: Aerosmith
2. Tower of Terror
3. Mission:Space
4. Space Mountain
5. Everest (I dunno, I just think it's...smoothier...)
6. Test Track
7. Big Thunder Mountain

Splash Mountain is barely a thrill ride...

wont lie I LLOOVVEE the rides... my list will be

1. Rockin Roller coaster
2. Big Thunder Mountain
3. Space Mountain
4. Everest "fix the yeti!!!"
5. Mission Space... Cant ride bc fiance is scared
6. Tower of Terror... still cant ride cause fiance is scared
7. test track

but Dinosaur is my fave

7. Space Mt (this one always gives me a neck ache)

Oh I have riden both before my fiance and I dated... love them... and she made me make her ride ToT... bad times... ive never seen her cry so much...

Ah, bless her heart! Yes, the falling is the thing I HATE about thrill rides...so the fact that ToT is all about the falling holds NO appeal for me, although I want to get back in the queue on a future trip, just to see all the cool stuff that I've learned about. I don't remember it last time. I was too nervous.
