Resort Restaurants Are My Favourites...

As I look down my DDP schedule for next year, I've noticed that most of my T/S choices are located at various resorts..Three are located in Epcot..One at MK..and one at Disney Springs...Are your favourites at the resorts rather than the parks.?..

LOL getting my boys out of the parks has always been a problem for us! So we do most of our dining in the parks! Hoping to change that up a bit next trip. crossfingers

Oh you must Figgy...Give them a taste of T-Rex at Disney Springs for starters..You can always go back to the parks after dinner..Promise then a surprise if they go with the flow..I used to buy my boy a new pin if he behaved himself at a T/S restaurant ...Worked for us..He was like an angel..Must take after his dad.. waiting

Sometimes slowing them down takes more than a pin, more like a new shirt! My little angels don't come cheap!

Thanks! If I had to develop a gluten problem now is the time to have one! Not always easy away from home but Disney really seems to have a handle on it!

Artist Point, California Grill, Narcoossee's, and of course, Victoria & Albert's. Yep...all of my favorite TS restaurants are at the resorts. Fine dining is a big part of any vacation for me. BOG was nice, but walking in for dinner wearing shorts took a little something away from the whole experience. I love dressing up for dinner.

We love eating at Epcot. Our next trip will be resort exploring- can't wait to try some resort restaurants.

We don't eat at a lot of the resorts except for breakfast anymore but Kona is a favorite

I have to agree, the resorts have more restaurants I love than the parks do. I do like TS all over Epcot, but otherwise I'd rather go to Sanaa when we're at AK, a monorail resort restaurant when we're at MK, and boat to an Epcot restaurant when we're at DHS.

We'd like to try breakfast or lunch, or maybe both, at a monorail resort in January. My DH, 24 year old DD, and I like everything Disney has to offer, we always love trying something new. I am having a really hard time making a decision. Any suggestions would be appreciated. mickey

The Wave at the Contemporary, Kona at the Poly, Grand Floridian Cafe. All are great restaurants and have wonderful offerings. Check out there menus at http://allears.net/dining/menu/.

These are just the breakfast menus. Remember they may have changed some items.

There are also the Character breakfasts like 'Ohana's at The Poly and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. All three are all you can eat, the later two being buffets and 'Ohana's the just keep bringing it to you until you say stop.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate all of the great information I get from you all. I 'd rather ask for advice from everyone on this forum than any other. I think Kona and The Wave are going to lure us in. We're resort exploring for fun on our next trip. I can book ADR's in a few weeks- I can barely stand it! yay

Couldn't agree with you more..That's why I love this site as well...Tho sometimes my old memory fails me and I ask questions on a topic that I've already asked.. wheelchair ..But yes, the knowledge of people on here amaze me..Then I spread the Disney gospel to friends at parties, and they think I'm a genius.. awesome But I owe it all to the people on here.. mickey
