finally single digits !!! ......so tired of this winter looking forward to a nice week in the sun ...enjoying some good food...relaxing by pool and having a few drinks !!

I don't know how you people do it living in heavy winter states! I can't handle being indoors that much. It's currently 72 degrees here in Carlsbad, CA (San Diego) and I'm about to go for a surf in the ocean.

I get really really cranky dealing with the snow, and the ice and the cold, repeat. However it makes you appreciate the other seasons that much more. I wish I could throw a copy of the 2014 Farmer's Almanac in the fireplace (that is if I had a fireplace).

Y'all need to move on down to South Georgia/North Florida While we don't have much in the way of snow (thank goodness!) we do have three-ish seasons. I still get to make use of all my flannel shirts/jackets and we do get autumn colors (just not quite as pretty and all at once, like up north.) Oh, downside to here...tropical storms and hurricanes...but it's a mostly fair trade
