So.... how do they kick out the day crowd before MNSSHP?

Hey all! It's been a MINUTE! Hi!

I am taking a 3 day trip to Disneyland with the fam! We are not attending MNSSHP. In the past we've been at the magic kingdom and Disneyland during this event. They don't seem to actually kick anyone out from the daytime crowd.... we didn't try to push the envelope and left pretty soon after the party starts anyways... so my question is, do they ever kick people out? How does that all work?

Hey Carlsbaddrew! Nice to see you mickey clapping awesome

The last time we were there, CMs put a special event wristband on your wrist so that by the time the party started,if th did not have a wristband on they would advise you to leave the park (in a super nice CM way). They had roving Cms throughout scanning the crowds looking for those without bands.

At WDW banded party guests start coming in at 2pm and then again at 4pm.

First Disney does a sweep, which is a line of cast members from the farthest corners of the Parks that slowly walk towards the from and check wrist bands. If you don't have one on they turn your party around to head out. It is very friendly and subtle, you wouldn't really even notice it unless you come up against the sweep line. After the sweep line goes through they do check bands at the rides. They try and do so subtly, so if they can see the band on your wrist easily they may not ask you, but if they can't see it and the Park has closed to day guests, they will ask and redirect you.
