Star Wars Weekends -- Woo Hoo!!

Hi, Friends!

I'm looking for some sage advice from folks who have attended Star Wars Weekends at DHS.

My main question is: should I allot two days for DHS during my vacation, one for "regular" DHS and one for SWW DHS?

Here are the deets:
* Intergenerational trip: my hubs, my parents, my elementary-school-aged-kids & me.
* 5-day, no hopper pass.
* Mid-day arrival on a Tuesday, and departure on the following Sunday.
* We all love ALL of the parks and don't want to miss much from any of them.
* Not interested too much (I don't think, at this point) in autographs of SW characters, but Lando and Chewie are going to be there when I'm there, so I may be rethinking that!
* Last weekend of SWW. We'll be going for the SWW event on Friday.
* We'll want to do Jedi Training Academy.
* Toy Story Mania is a must.
* I'm feeling a little stressed about giving DHS two of my park days, honestly, but am starting to feel like maybe this is the only way I can get all there is out of SWW and DHS equally.

Friends, I ask of you: can I have my cake and eat it, too, in one day at the Studios?

Thanks for any advice you can throw out there!! Smile

Get Toy Story FastPass early ( Like as soon as you get there!) We were there early May (May The 4th be with you) and fast passes for the entire day were gone by noon! Missed one of my favorite rides this trip by not getting the FP early.

Was Star Wars Weekends going on when you were there, KYWildcat? I'm trying to figure out how to be twelve places at once: in line for autographs, getting kids signed up for Jedi Training Academy, and get Star Tours and Toy Story Mania...d'oh! Smile

Nancy get someone to get your TSM tickets, find out what time the autographs are going to be, get the kids signed up for the Jedi training first and as that gets full really quickly and hope that the training and autographs are not at the same time! Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks, Sally-Ann! So, will they have specific times for us to get our autographs, even with the wrist-band FastPass thingy they're handing out at the front? I can't find much good, specific info on how SWW goes down, so I'm trying to gather as much info as possible to plan my strategy.

Thanks again for your help everybody!!
