Is Stormalong Bay THAT Crowded?

We're hoping to be able to use the pool a lot when we're in WDW this Fall, but I've heard horror stories about how crowded stormalong Bay gets. We don't want to have to secure chairs at 10am or anything. Thoughts?

I've found it can vary pretty significantly. However I've rarely seen it terribly empty.

We always prefer the quiet pools anyway, unless we want to do the slide!
