taking high schoolers- have an itinerary- need some suggestions!

I know I have mentoned that my husband and I are taking our key club to convention in Disney. We have a schedule worked out-
july 1- epcot around noon on arrival with late magic hours
july2- DHS with late hours and dinner at Ohana for husbands bday fantasmic at 9
July 3- MK with parade and pTriotic fireworks
July4- AK then Typhoon Lagoon then LaNouba
July 5- no park tickets but a back stage la nouba tour

Since the kids only have two whole days ad two half days Im looking for suggestions on fastpass use and ride navigation to maximize time. I have some plans I usually follow but am open to other ideas. Thanks!

I just have one suggestion...make sure you get them there early every morning if you want to stick with your plans. The parks will be absolutely packed that week and I wouldn't want you guys to not get in before we reach capacity.

I second Jessi5989. Get there early, and maximize time. It will be crowded and hot!

On you DHS day, are you going to the park, leaving for dinner at Ohana, then returning? Leave yourselves time to wrestle crowds and traffic.

It's kind of a blown trip in the early sense- there is no way they will get up early lol and I know how the crowd levels will be but that's when they planned convention. They should have let all of us plan the conventions! laugh

As for time to get to Ohana, I've worked out times for leaving and returning! I'm so excited to surprise him with the kids with dinner and cake! yay

I'm wondering if anyone has a certain order they go on rides that helps them maximize their time. I have an AK plan set. The others I tend to change my plans each time before I go.

One major thing I always do is I go to the one ride that I absolutely cannot go without riding (but refuse to wait for) and get a fastpass. Then I make plans from there. Like in MK its Space Mountain. Epcot is Soarin. HS is Rock n Roller Coaster. and AK is Everest.

Everest, going on the single rider line will get you on much faster.
