Had some great Disney moments watching this with my twelve year old son this weekend (Yes, I said son 
and he is usually focused completely on sports and Xbox!) He loved it so much we had to go to Walmart and buy it today. It was corny but really cute with a sweet message! Good job Disney!
He is watching it again with his 19 year old sister now!

I was *so* disappointed with it! I was super excited to see it and it just fell short for me. My daughter kept pointing out continuity issues with the girls' hair styles too (and I'm not talking about the wet hair thing that was part of the movie).

LOL! I think you had to be in a "Corny" frame of mind when you watched it. The fake greaser accents were cracking me up.
See - I am a HUGE fan of the original Frankie & Annette beach movies and I hoped that this would pay homage to that. It really was more of a parody of it that just went over the top. I just couldn't handle how stupid the male surfer lead was.

I am with you there!! There wasn't a coherent thought in his head! I do think they played him up way too stupid. The characters did leave a bit to be desired.
We loved the music though! "Falling for you" keeps running through my head 
I think it was made to be more of a spoof like the Scary Movie series or Spaceballs which is why the characters seem over the top.
Im usually down with the Disney TV flicks, but this one just looked WAY too campy for me. My daughter wants to see it so eventually ill have to watch it... and I do enjoy Ross Lynch in Austin and Ally... but yeah... Biker vs. Surfers just seems odd to me as a rivalry.

Thanks for the warnings, folks. I watched all the old beach movies on TV when I was a teenager. And I think I'll leave it at that.
