Thank you cards

So today I was starting to plan and budget for all of our tip money and was reading some threads on here and saw that you can't tip the bus drivers and that got me thinking what could I do for them to make their day a little bit better? Then I though what about a little thank you card? just something small like a business card that says something along the lines of thank you for making my Disney experience magical!! I would like to hear your thoughts on this idea. Is it something that isn't needed? Is it a good idea or something that you would think about doing?

I think it's a great idea! Most CMs we've had the pleasure to interact with really do out of their way to make our visits Disney-special, so showing them how much you appreciate it is a great gesture.

I agree with Jeff! You could have a fair few and give them out to any CM you felt had gone out of the way to make your day special, even those in tipped positions (you could give it along with a tip)

well I think it's official I'm going to make thank you cards to hand out to any CM that makes my Disney vacation feel magical!! biggrin

Thanks! I always thought we did tip them, but DH reminded me that they refuse it when we offer.

Great idea!! You can use blank 3x5 cards and print in a colored printer. . . Of be craftier and make them another way!!!

I have all kinds of ideas running through my head. . . awesome

It does. Although if a cm really makes your vacation special, I highly recommend going to Guest Relations (at the parks and DTD) or front desk (resorts) and filling out a piece of paper. The paper is Disneys official recognition. One of the papers is a Four Keys Fanatic Card and another one is a applause-o-gram. The Fanatic card goes on record and the more that cms have of those, the better they look for transfers and promotions. The applause-o-gram just looks good.

I did not know about those! I'll remember them for our October trip awesome
