I haven't eaten at any of those. I'm really missing out. I will be trying Sanaa this year. Based on what I've read here from the members, I'd say the list is spot on.

I haven't been to a Alberts or Flying Fish but l have been to all the others. I agree with Hub they left off quite a few great restaurants and even if I had to rate just those 10 they would not be in that order.

Trip Advisor is so odd in the way they rate things, but I think it's hard to rate Disney's top restaurants on one list over all to begin with. It'd be like if you compare California Grill to 50s Prime Time, there's so many differences ranging from cost to food choice to atmosphere, and whether someone would rate one higher than the other is determined by what they're expecting from the experience.

Karli, have you ever gone to Trip Advisor to read bad reviews, particularly of Disney? I have wasted hours doing that, it's amazing the things that you can find.

The only one I've eaten at is Boma, which I love. I've been to Ghirardelli, but only to buy chocolate.

I agree with you two. If these are the top 10 then I wouldnt have them in that order. And they have left a lot out. Im thinking these are more of the accessible places that are easy to get to. But thats just me. I like DTD... but not all of these deserve the top 10.

I agree with Cookie Crumbler, how do you compare Victoria and Alberts to Earl of Sandwich? The experiences and price points are completely different.

I can vouch for these. I'd happily go back to any of them, but I would put them in a different order.

2. Earl of Sandwich
3. Jiko
5. Boma
7. Sanaa
8. California Grill
9. Ohana

The list isn't created by Tripadvisor.com itself... But by the people who have visited each restaurant... So the order is not based upon how alike each place is... But upon the experiences of visitors, the food, the service, etc... whichever place has the most/best ratings reaches the #1 spot... Which appears to be Victoria & Alberts... Second is Earl of Sandwich simply because Disney guests or Florida residents love the food! The list isn't anything that was thought out by a group of people on the website but is basically rated in by guests who have visited... I definitely have to try Earl of Sandwich now that I know people have had such great experiences there!

I haven't done this for Disney Restaurants but have for Disney Resorts. It's quite entertaining!

Our absolute favorite Disney restaurant is California Grill. I don't know if this would be considered a Disney restaurant persay, but Shula's Steakhouse at the Dolphin (or is it the Swan? I can't remember) is PHENOMINAL!

Shula's Steakhouse is at the Dolphin hotel. To me it is a Disney Rest. and is my absolute favorite in the whole Disney World Empire. I go everytime we are at WDW. Their Filet is to die for.

The only one on the list I've eaten at (so far) is Boma, which I did enjoy. I've also enjoyed the The Yachtsmans Steakhouse, the Turf Club, and Whispering canyon Cafe at the resorts. And many thru-out the parks. Of course this year, I might be making ADRs at McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and Golden Corral,.. I'll have to see if they take DDP.

I can tell you for sure that neither of these take ADR's or DDP. laugh rolling

Oh but wouldn't it be nice. I am sure Victoria and Albert's is fantastic, but it is certainly outside my price range. Ohana and Earl of Sandwhich are probably my favorites that I have been too one the list.

Just saw this list, and it is utterly puzzling.

As has been pointed out, how do you compare Earl of Sandwich and Ghirardelli to Jiko and Victoria and Albert? Completely different beasts. It would also be nice to know what criteria was used, or whether this is simply a fan favorite (which is still puzzling if they lumped everything together).

Zagat Survey had a listing of restaurants in the Orlando area, which includes WDW restaurants. I'd rather use that.

There was no criteria used. Guests visit Tripadvisor.com and rate the restaurants in Disney World. Whichever restaurant has the best/most ratings/reviews makes it to the top of the list. I understand that they are not comparable.. But it's nice to get an idea of where people get really excited to go/eat/visit while in Disney. This list is not a thought out list by tripadvisor.com. Someday, Earl of Sandwich could fall to the number 3 spot because of the reviewers raving about a new restaurant.

1. Victoria & Albert's
2. Earl of Sandwich
3. Jiko
4. Ghirardelli
5. Boma
6. Beaches & Cream
7. Sanaa
8. California Grill
9. Ohana
10. Flying Fish Cafe

Mostly, it's a good list. There are some obvious places missing and some that probably shouldn't be there. Boma is really good but it's far from one of the best restaurants at Disney, one of the best buffets sure. Ghirardelli? Beaches and Cream? Great, yes. The best? No, not the best. I know people love 'Ohana. I go there all the time. I'd eat their wings, salad, and pot stickers every day but they overcook their proteins and the service is spotty at best.

If I got to edit that list, I'd yank Ghirardelli, B&C, Boma, and 'Ohana and replace them with Citricos, Narcoossee's, Via Napoli, and Bistro de Paris. I'd probably keep Earl because of its value but it wouldn't be number 2.

Thanks for the idea, I now have another way to waste time involving my Disney addiction.
