Uneven Switches - What to Do with a Table Service Credit? Breakfast at The Wave?

I'm getting so antsy about finishing up all my vacation plans, but it occurred to me the other day that if I do get the Be Our Guest lunch FastPass it will mess up my dining plan credits because we'll be trading our table service meal at Liberty Tree Tavern for a Counter Service credit at Be Our Guest. I know, I know, first world problems.

Anyhow - I have to figure out what to do with the extra Table Service credit! Should I pay cash at Cosmic Rays and then add a table service breakfast on Saturday? I was thinking maybe we should start our Monorail hotel hopping with Breakfast at the Wave. Has anyone here had breakfast at The Wave? What would you do?

Thursday - Arrival Day. Dinner, Quick Serve Credit at Artists Palate

Friday - Typhoon Lagoon Day. Breakfast at Cash at Earl of Sandwich - Lunch, Quick Serve Credit at Leaning Palms - Dinner, 2 Table Credits at Hoop-dee-doo

Saturday - Monorail Crawl & Downtown Disney Day. Breakfast, Cash Quick Service - Lunch, Quick Service Credit - Dinner, Table Service Credit at Raglan Road

Sunday - Magic Kingdom Day. Breakfast, Cash Quick Service - Lunch, Table Service Credit Liberty Tree Tavern **Fingers Crossed for Be Our Guest - Dinner, Quick Service Credit Cosmic Rays

Monday - Departure Day. Breakfast, Cash Quick Service

I have not had breakfast at the Wave. But I heard its really good and I would spend my table service credit there if it was my choice!

We have had breakfast at the wave, (the buffet) and it was really good.

We've had breakfast (and dinner fwiw) at The Wave and HIGHLY recommend it! All of the a la carte items, or at least most of them, are on the buffet, so definitely go with the buffet.

Highly recommend The Wave, you can usually get in without an ADR also, if you go early.

After lunch off the bar menu, The Wave has been on our 'to do' list for both breakfast and dinner.

We have breakfast at the Wave almost everyday of our Disney stay. Love the buffet. Well not a huge buffet it is very good quality and excellent service. We actually take the boat over from Wilderness to eat here. We prefer it over Whispering Canyon. Kona Cafe has a very yummy breakfast also if you are planning on going on a monorail crawl.

I just did both the Wave & Boma breakfast buffets on my trip at the end of January. And while the Wave buffet was good, I had a lot more options at Boma. Wave's buffet is just the traditional American breakfast foods, which Boma has too but then they also have a carving station & unique African foods. I joked with my server that the breads station at Boma didn't have Zebra Domes & she said "Would you like some?" OMG Jungle Juice & Zebra Domes was an incredible way to start the day.

But hands down the best breakfast for 1 sit-down credit is Kona. I may be a bit addicted to Tonga Toast with a side of the macadamia nut butter.

We ended up meeting local friends for breakfast at Whispering Canyon, so everything worked out perfectly! I didn't try someplace new but we all had a great time with friends.
