Buffalo Bill and I got back home last night from a lovely stay at VWL. I wanted to share a few quick observations on the room updates.
- The rooms seem much brighter with the new furniture and linens!
- The new lighting (kitchen ceiling and bathroom sconces) is a HUGE improvement!
- Storage is a little strange as one of the bedside tables has a hinged door that opens (only if nothing is in front of it on the floor) - no drawers at all
- The kitchen utensils have all been replaced!
- The refrigerator situation is weird - it was sticking way out into the kitchen - so I pushed it back and found that you can't open the door! Although the "space" is adequate - the type of refrig door can't be accommodated. Also of note is the "junior" size refrigerator. There is one tiny ice cube tray - and I do mean tiny! It couldn't have been larger than 4" x 6"! So happy I had a couple in my owner's locker (trays - not ice cubes
). Lastly - in order to fit a Brita pitcher in the frig, I had to take out a shelf. No way to adjust it to allow it to fit.

I believe they had them there prior to the refurb but I could be mistaken....my memory isn't what it used to be....
