weather

Yeah, yeah I know. You guys in the freezing snow and below zero temperatures are going to laugh at me. But being the Floridian I am, I am doing my best to stay inside today. With weather around forty degrees all day long, I just wanted to let you guys can have Disney today. Enjoy.

laugh

I would kill to be in 40 degree weather right now! So - has it snowed yet this year? I know that the past couple of years there have been some flurries during Marathon Weekend. One year lizards were even falling out of trees.

No snow in the forecast. That happened once just a smidge a few years ago. You will hear about snow at times in Florida, but almost always, that is up near the Florida Georgia Line (which is also a great country band!). As far as I know the lizards are okay. I don't plan on stepping outside anytime soon to check however.

40 degrees would be considered 'tropical' to us folks in NH right now Smile I have heard of Raining cats & dogs, but NEVER raining lizards. laugh rolling

Its been cold down here in Disney that the animals at DAK are being kept inside. I also got an email from my landlord saying to bring in plants or cover them, make sure our pets are kept inside, open cabinet doors so the pipes don't freeze, keep the water dripping to keep the water running and keep the thermostat at 68 degrees. Never thought it would get that cold in Florida.

I'll bet the Polar Bears and penguins at Sea World etc. are happy! Smile

I'm just thankful we Pennsylvanians don't have it as bad as those of you in the Great Lakes region and upper Midwest. Also thankful that aside from walking to the end of the driveway to get the mail, I don't have to go out at all today.

It got up to a balmy 3F today!

My daughter Tori broke her glasses so I had to leave the house, I was totally bundled up but I still managed to come home with a slight burn on my cheeks from the cold wind.
