What do you think about Disney's Internet initatives?

So Disney was kind of a laggard in the Internet, but they've clearly focused on getting up to date in the last year or so. Do you guys read the Disney parks blog, etc? Do you think they're doing a good job embracing the medium?

I do read it, and I think they're doing a good job of embracing social media...although I'm kind of a newbie myself, so I may not be the best judge. I will say that their website is so mammoth, though, that I usually google whatever I need, and go directly to it, rather than trying to navigate around the website. It's just so huge. And for me, slow...although that could be my connection or computer (I'm sure it is.)

What do you think?

I agree with Lizzy B..I enjoy the blog it's great..and they are starting to branch off and do specific blogs (like a Disney Wedding Blog). I think they missed the mark getting these established before "fansites" popped up..but honestly I'd rather read the fan blogs rather than Disney ones because the opinions are skewed.

The Disney website is just mammoth. I only go where I need to go as well.

I was really excited to see the wedding blog, too! Esp the cakes. They're exquisite.
