What Events Would Get You To Dress Up?

I love at the parties and at Star Wars Weekends when everyone dresses up. That being said I'd never do it myself. Would anything get you to wear a costume?

I have wanted to dress up at the Halloween parties, but the farthest I have gone is to buy some fancy ears! Wink

I think my husband would love to dress up for Star Wars weekends, but I don't know if he would!

Halloween would, but not for something like Star Wars.

I love all the people wearing costumes at SWW. It's like a halloween party but there's a theme.

Good call. Grab a cowboy hat, some jeans and you're practically there.

Catherine - welcome!

Yes, Halloween - because you feel really envious if you don't imo! I threw together an easy "pirate" costume a couple of years ago for MNSSHP - a striped, boat neck shirt, a blue bandana babushka-style, big hoop earrings, and khaki pants. Free face painting completed the ensemble! I looked a little like a female Smee! It was big fun, though. And I "shopped" only in my closet. mickey

You can grab a pistol at the PotC shop and you're good to go!

Eh..none probably. I like dressing up for work (I teach 2nd grade & it always seems like my school is having "Wacky Socks" day or something..& I have themed outfits for the holidays)..so I don't really do it anywhere else.

I need a reason to dress up? I dress up for fun. My class waits to see what I will pull out of my hat box when we do a new reading unit, science or social studies chapter.
