What Movie or Book Franchise Needs a Theme Park?

So given how popular HP land has been, what other movie or books out there could be made into a Theme Park land?

Good question. I think a fun theme park theme would be based on the Bass and Rankin Christmas specials (Rudolph, Frosty, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, etc).

I still think a Jurassic Park would just be soooooo awesome! Dino rides! Animatronic Dino's throughout the park. I just think it would be awesome.

There's a Jurassic Park area and ride at Islands of Adventure.

I've said it before, but Journey to the Centre of the Earth would make a great ride/walk through.

That is a GREAT one. Wow, and they could do a LOT with it. I was going to say Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I have always dreamed of taking a tour and drinking some of that warm chocolate!

The ride is OK, but would have been so much better if Disney had done it.

But we also have... http://www.cadburyworld.co.uk/CadburyWorld/theexperience/Pages/TheExperience.aspx

I agree with the Lord of the Rings votes..I am not a fan of these movies but I think that it would make a cool park..same with Star Wars..I know there is Star Tours but there is a ton that can be done with Star Wars.

But we also have... http://www.cadburyworld.co.uk/CadburyWorld/theexperience/Pages/TheExperience.aspx

This reinforces my need to visit the UK Smile Thanks so much for sharing this, Tony!

I think that Harry Potter is already a hit. I think that the movie and book has a good form and following to be continuous.

I have heard from someone in the inside that their biggest worry is when the hype dies down. They want to ensure that they would have fans going even with the series years over with.

Well, that makes sense as you would not want a monster investment for something that would operate on the limit only.
