Magic Kingdom's Festival of Fantasy Parade is moving to a 2 pm start time from its usual 3 pm start through the end of this year.
The time change begins August 17 and will last throughout the hard-ticket event season, which includes Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
I don't believe the Maleficent Dragon has returned to the parade yet after the fire incident. Does anyone know if there's an ETA?

When we were there in May it was a 2pm start then (or maybe it was January?). It was back to 3 for our most recent trip. Wonder why they keep changing the time?
I was going to say, I feel like they did this last year too but maybe it was our January trip.

I think the reasoning is probably exactly what Jeff suggested in that it's hard ticket event season. If party goers start arriving at 4pm (2pm for DVC members) then the parade can cause unwanted congestion and disrupt the transition.
