Who Has Been Watching Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Opening?

Have you been glued to your computer the past two days getting all the latest information o Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland? Who are you following? What have been the best things you have seen so far?

I've been following the ABC, Disney Food Blog and AllEars mostly, with a touch of Lou Mongello thrown in for good measure. Share the best things you have seen and what you're looking forward to most!

I'm excited to pilot the M. Falcon
The immersive theme looks absolutely amazing, so just walking around will be cool.
I might have to finally build my own lightsaber, but I can skip the shoulder Lizard Monkey, the driod depot looked cool too.
I love that you need to use the Play Disney Parks App to translate the signs, at least in concept.

This is a great article about all the details going in.

Oh! This will be exciting news for California Gill fans. Culinary Director Brian Piasecki, was one of the creative minds behind the food you'll see throughout Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. I love that! Brian is an amazing Chef and the fact that he was involved should bode well for the overall flavors of the new land.

I've seen a couple but not a lot. I hope to get caught up this weekend.

I haven't. I'm conflicted, I want to see it, however I want to be surprised when I go in person.

I really tried to ignore the Disneyland opening, but in the end I just wasn't able to. I'm just calling it research to prep articles for when WDW opens at the end of the summer. laugh

I've been following Disney Food Blog, Disneyland Daily, and the Dis mostly. I'm excited and all, more so now that I actually watched all the Star Wars movies, but I'm a little overwhelmed with the insane amount of content streaming in over the past several days. I TOTALLY get why, I'm just taking a backseat and delving in little by little. Our first taste won't be until the end of September at Disneyland so I don't feel the need to be go too crazy with all the info just yet.

It is a lot to digest. I've backed off from consumption since press day. It really looks fantastic and I can't wait to see it for myself.

I saw you can get a Porg and lifelike sounds and motions can be activated. That's all I needed to see. I want one!

Apparently Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has not been the insanely crowded morass of people that was expected and Disneyland is actually experiencing a pretty slow summer so far. Wait times this week for Smuggler's Run were about 30 minutes according to this article.
