Whole Body Dryers at DCA

If you hate getting wet on the water rides and then having to walk around the parks like I do, you might consider this new add over at Disney's California Adventure: FULL BODY DRYERS!!

I believe they were just installed outside the exit of Grizzly River Run. I think it's a hoot. But worth $5? I'd consider it maybe if there were 5 of us and it actually dried me out, especially my socks...I hate wet socks. But a sign posted nearby says shoes and shirt required (this means you MrHub!) so I'm not sure how my socks would get dry....

I wonder if this would ever come to WDW outside Kali River Rapids. Or if it's just a California thing....

We used these at Dollyworld several years ago. Lighter clothing did dry but most of our clothing did not. It does help but you are not dry. It does nothing for your feet. Not sure if Mrhub even tried them.

I think they have them at Seaworld by the new water ride there Infinity Falls... it's so dang hot in Florida you dry pretty quickly LOL But I'm the same, very rarely ride water rides as I hate to be wet.

They had them at Universal Studios as well. We didn't try them as we're too cheap laugh

Cool! I hate being wet so I might give them a try. $5 seems pretty steep for a blast of air though.

I remember seeing these at Universal when we were there back in 2012. I would never use them because if I don't want to get wet I don't go on the water ride. I usually want to get wet to cool down if I'm going on a water ride.
