Your Favourite Event At WDW...

Up until last year, all our previous trips were in July..So twice we had the 4th July party at Disney..But last year was our first October trip and although we went to MNSSHP night, it was the Food & Wine festival that we fell in love with..Now I'm not into the flowers event as I don't have green fingers, nor am i a Star Wars fan, and my days of running in any kind of race are long gone..Tho I would love to do the Xmas party, maybe one day....So what event is your favourite at Disney.?

You don't have to have a green thumb to love flower and garden festival! Love seeing all of the greenery and flowers and topiaries, as we emerge from another grey and dull winter. And the food is pretty good, too! We were there at SWW time, and didn't even try. Even though my son is somewhat fanatical about it. We tease him that he is ready to teach a college level history course for Star Wars.

We love SWW days as my boys are obsessed. The only problem is that it can be almost 22 hours of SWs fanatics! Fun and crazy! I am sad we'll miss it on our next trip!

Christmas. Anything Christmas. I LOVE Holidays around the World at EPCOT and the Gingerbread houses and Osbourne Lights and the castle draped in lights and the castle lighting ceremony and Holiday Wishes and MVMCP and the beautiful decorations and characters in winter wear and just...ALL of it!! It's my favorite time of year at my favorite place on Earth. It doesn't get any better than that!!

I love MNSSHP! I am a huge fan of Halloween and being in the MK with all my favorite characters makes it even better. My pics with Jack and Sally are among some of my favorites.

Sadly, the only one I've really attended was a SWW and for a non-Star Wars fun it was really, really fun! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Lol...Ok...You gotta point...Tho I remember way back on our first trip, and going in July 2nd till the 16th..I was foretold of how busy the parks would be, but we loved the atmosphere, especially on independence night at MK with the special fireworks display..There's nothing worse going to a party when there's no one there..lol...

Must say ditto to all of the above fabulous times of year and events! However I like Food and Wine the least believe it or not - maybe because I cannot go when the crowds are reasonable to try the foods - lines are pretty long on weekends which is when I get to blow in for for only a couple of days, and usually for the purpose of the Halloween party!

My vote is for Christmas at WDW. The entire season is my favorite event, but I especially love The Osborne Lights and we loved MVMCP last year and look forward to doing it again this year.

Yep, we go the first week of January-low crowds, cool weather, and the gorgeous Christmas decorations are still on display.

My vote is for MVMCP. So much fun. We have tickets to go this year. Food and wine would be a close second.

Food & Wine!!

Although I haven't been to many other events, so I may change my mind (especially if the parks are empty in February for our next trip!! Loved your "event" mrHub) Flower & Garden is great too and seems to be adding more F&W type offerings alongside the beautiful scenery.

MNSSHP is the best holiday party in my opinion. I like the hopping atmosphere it has and the parade is great!

I agree! Hallow-wishes are the best fireworks too, IMHO.

Well because of this post I really want to see Disney at Christmas. We are going next year when MNSSHP is on and we are going to experience this for the first time which I am super excited about.

But since I have went on and on about seeing the Disney magic at Christmas time I have convinced my Mam, Stepdad, Sister, Brother-in-law and my 2 nieces (will be 6 and nearly 2) to go next November to Disneyland Paris for a weekend... not set in stone need prices but I am determined Smile and it's all down to this post !!!

I would love to go to Orlando for it but I have never been too DLP before and its a lot closer and cheaper so I am compromising Smile
