Your Favourite Scenic Spots In The Parks..

Calling all professional Disney snappers...Ok I've got a new Canon 35 mm camera for this years vacation..( My DS will use our old, or not so old, Olympus point and shoot ) So I'am looking for your favourite spots around WDW for family shots..Many moons ago,and I'am talking moons. I used to be into photography ( wayyyyy before the digital age ) Armed with my trusty Nikon and a case full of lenses, filters, etc, I would snap away at anything that took my fantasy..And out of maybe 200 shots, about 50 were decent enough to make it into my album...Unfortunatly my DW doesn't look thro the camera eye when composing a shot and hence we get the odd lamp post sticking out of our heads, or a trash can in the foreground..So this year I'am giving her a lesson on composition..Here's one of her better snaps of me and Fergus junior taken a few years ago..

There are actually some beautiful spots at your hotel, in the lobby on the bridge and then a pretty garden right outside the lobby doors towards the pool. The Grand Floridian also has some lovely spots.

In the Magic Kingdom I like the bridge by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments for a great view of the Castle behind.

Victoria Gardens in Epcot is beautiful, also on the Isla in Italy, there's also a nice spot at International Gateway.

I like snapping whenever and wherever takes my fancy (1500 shots during my trip up the West Coast - probably 100 or so are worth anything!), although of late, I've been shooting a lot of sunset and low sun shots and attempting to capture the colour of the sky at that point. For me, it doesn't matter if the subject is in shadow or not as long as the lighting is moody, spectacular or enhances the wonder of the picture...if that makes any sense at all!

Just in front of the Castle looking up, or just behind (at the real front door) in Fantasyland. Usually it's a nice bright sunny day with no clouds, so try to capture one with some moody rainclouds behind it instead...the whole personality of the castle changes when the sky is a little angry...Laughing out loud

I've had good luck from the beach at Poly looking toward MK in the morning and from the ferry dock at MK at sunset looking back at GF and Poly. I have some great sunset pics from around the lagoon.

Same is true at CBR. awesome

I love the gardens behind UK, as there are some lovely scenery to put behind the loved ones.

I find the Canada pavilion in Epcot to be rather scenic. I mean, Victoria Gardens are definitely a great spot for photos and you can also a picture of the waterfall in the background.
