Your Favourite Signature Restaurants..

Good Monday Morning Everyone..I've just been reading all your answers on my thread topic of top three restaurants..interesting indeed..But today I'd like you to vote for your favourite signature ones, and what made it do special..Was it the food..or ambience, or a view to die for..( Cali Grill by the window overlooking MK ) Just tell me what ones you've been too and wouldn't hesitate going back to..

Hollywood Brown Derby. My favorites are the Cobb salad and grapefruit cake.

My top three are

Cali Grill, I love the food but the view is what makes it for me. Note, although I love the view I do not care much for it for fireworks viewing.

Brown Derby, again love the food. This place really does have the old Hollywood feel to it.

Yachtsman, this one is all about the food

I will mention both Narcoosees and Citricos. I enjoy my meal at both places and would recommend either of them.

Cali grill- food is good, drinks are better, and the view is the best
Yachtsman- the best meat in the realm
Le cell and HBD are close but I'll give it to Le cell

I know this almost makes me a Disney newbie, but the only signature place we have eaten at is Le Cellier and we ate there for lunch when it was still 1TS. We had our adult sons with us on our last two trips, so it was a matter of feeding them everyday and skipping a large sit down meal for even one day meant that there would be missing animals at AK and a small BBQ at the resort somewhere. Our DH2's nickname is "Human Hoover" for nothing.

So I am watching your responses.

California Grill for the food, service and then view.
Hollywood Brown Derby for the food and the ambience.

Victoria & Albert's, hands down! From the moment we walk in, we're treated like royalty. Personalized menus, a harpist, wonderful food and drinks, being escorted to the rest room. It's just magical.

Barbara, Victoria & Albert's is awesome, but I don't think you can put that in this category because thats above regular signature dining. That's in a category all it's own. awesome

Yachtsman is our favorite but Artist Point is also wonderful. We are trying Cali Grill and Narcoossees this trip.

We really enjoyed Citricos - a lot. I'm also a big fan of Artist Point. But I think my favorite so far is Jiko.

We haven't tried Monsieur Paul yet, but it's on the short list of restaurant 'must do'. And we have to get to Victoria & Albert's before it falls off the TIW list this summer (great food and staff that bows and scrapes? yes, please). Smile

In order:

1. Bluezoo - great food and ambiance, good service........not on dining plan, but does take TIW
2. Il Mulino - great service, good food and ambiance........not on dining plan, but does take TIW
3. Citricos - good food and service

Jiko and Flying Fish are not far behind.

Spook neither have I and I don't think I will go to one either. I can't eat that much food anymore.

Believe it or not..I would say the portions are smaller at fine dining restaurants at WDW...Example..My dinner at Cali Grill, sushi and main course were beautifully presented and portions just right..Now compare that to our Flintstones experience at T- Rex..The portions were for dinosaurs.. eek

Yeh..If my first experience was judged on Le Cellier I also wouldn't be in a rush to try others, but thankfully it was our only " Meh " experience...You gotta try at least one next year...

True. Although LeCellier's steak was respectable in size, but yes the fancier the place the fancier the presentation and the smaller the plate.....(not buffets)
