VelcroPooh, amazing! One of them is at Hersheypark, which is local for me. I wish I could remember which book I read the "3 remaining" statistic in. That's the downside of the kindle--no physical book with a colorful cover to help me remember which book is which! I wonder if there was some other caveat like there are three of that model remaining or three that were hand-painted.

I gotta say that a part from Dumbo, I've never been on any of the other flying around rides. I am trying to think of anything else, but I can't. I make it a point to try it all. I guess I should get to it with Astro Orbiter and the Flying Carpets for example.

I've only been once, so the list is fairly long, but I'll list the five biggest must-do's that I've missed.

1. Splash Mountain - this was like the #1 ride for me when I went, but of course since I went in February it was closed for rehab. For like two months. waiting
2. Space Mountain - this was like the #2 ride for me, and we tried a few times to get on it, but the first night we were at MK it stopped working and was pretty much shut down the rest of the night, then the second/last time we were at MK we beelined straight to it and grabbed fastpasses because we wanted to hit a couple of other things instead of standing in line for 30 minutes or whatever. Well by the time our FP time came it was shut down again.
3. Toy Story Midway Mania - we were only at HS one day and it was an afternoon so they were already out of fastpasses, and we never felt like standing in a 120+ minute line (we just happened to hit the parks the same days as a certain Brazilian tour group that also happened to be staying at the Pop).
4. Kali River Rapids - closed for rehab because it was February. waiting
5. Maelstrom - I don't remember why we ended up not riding it, but we didn't.

I was also going to list five I have minimal interest in, but I could only think of four? And even then I would still probably ride/see them if I had enough of time except for Flights of Wonder or whatever that bird show is. I haaaate birds and especially hate birds flying around me, so NOPE.

1. Stitch. Can't stand Stitch, so the idea of being trapped with him for any period of time drives me crazy.

2. Like everyone else, American Idol. I refuse to watch the show when I'm at home on a couch, so why would I want to watch it when I'm on vacation in FL?

3. Aladdin's magic carpet ride. I don't know why, just never really had any interest, neither me or anybody else in my family that I've gone with. It's probably because of the lack of story and fun to it. There is no cue or anything like that. The Tea Cups have no cue either, I know, but we have a lot of fun together and always try to have the fastest spinning tea cup there!

4. Turtle Talk with crush. Never really had interest

5. Most things at Animal Kingdom just because I'm not a fan of AK and don't want to spend a large amount of time there ha!

I feel like I've seen everything, but that's actually not true as I think about it. Here's mine:

Kali River Rapids - I don't mind getting wet, but we usually go in January.
Barnstormer - I was too old to ride it as a kid, and ours were too young. This will change next January.
Sum of All Thrills - It doesn't excite me that much, and I always remember at night when it's closed.
American Idol Experience - It may be fun, but I just don't have an interest.
Magic Carpets of Aladdin - My daughter rode it with my mother-in-law, but I didn't see the need.

Never done the Teacups,Kali river rapids,Mission space,Lights motors action and prince charmings royal carousel.
Teacups - just don't want to queue for that long for a ride like that.
Kali river rapids - There are better themed raft rides in Florida if i want to get soaked.
Mission Space - Always been put off by the original opening buzz of all the illness so never bothered.
LMA - saw this in DLRP and thought it was ok but wouldn't want to spend that long baking in the sun to watch it again.
The carousel - Just never got on it (which i hope to rectify next trip)

1. Stitch's Great Escape - I don't like "Lilo and Stitch"

2. It's Tough to Be A Bug - I'm kind of wary about this one. I'm not a fan of anything that has more than four legs (except maybe butterflies and ladybugs), and I'm also somewhat arachnophobic. Mein sister is actually the one who advised against me seeing this, though.

3. Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular - for some reason, I've never gotten around to it. Also not a big fan of Indiana Jones

4. Liberty Square Riverboat - never gotten around to doing it.

5. Toy Story Midway Mania - no interest

I've done Mad Tea Party solo.

Good to know I can do it solo. I mean, I see doing the tea cups solo as a double edged sword. On the one hand, you can spin your cup to your liking. On the other hand, like it or not, sometimes it's more fun to have someone else to spin it, even if it's too much sometimes. biggrin

1. dumbo, aladin, tea cups, astro orbiter, and triceratops spin (i put these all in the same category because they are all the same to me I cant spin)

2. misson space, just chicken afraid of the motion sickness thing

3. the movie in china, just don't want to

4. American idol, the little mermaid, lion king and nemo just not my thing, usually my DW will take my DS

5. the water parks, just have not found the time we would all rather be in the major parks

Haven't been there in 4 1/2 years, so obviously there are a number of things that have come out since then that I hope to see on this upcoming trip. Here are a few we've just never gotten around to:

1) Water parks- My family has always been the go, go, go types in the parks, and we've just never spent enough time at WDW to warrant a day off at the water parks.

2) Toy Story Midway Mania- it was quite new when we were there last and the lines were way longer than we wanted to spend.

3) Lights, Motor, Action- I'm surprised my hubby wasn't interested.

4) Expedition Everest- Hubby also doesn't like roller coasters and since we were on our honeymoon I felt bad leaving him for that long... Will definitely be doing this time!

5) Walt Disney World Railroad- Just was never interested before, but my DS loves trains so this is a must this time!

Oh, come on, people - you have to experience them all at least once in your life! I have the same issues with vertigo/motion sickness on those virtual reality rides, but I've done them once each, just to say I did. (and paid for it for the next several hours too). yuck

I'm also a big chicken when it comes to heights, so I've never done Tower of Terror - but I've already decided that next trip has to be the one.

There are a few that I wouldn't want to do again - my biggest is that inane Carousel of Progress (not even with a court order will I get back on that one).

I have some issues with motion sickness. Can't do the coasters like I did 20 years ago. The worst was space mountain. I would not go on that again, ever. Even if they said I could sleep in the castle suite if I rode it. Not gonna happen.

tower of terror, I don't want to. You can't make me.
Mission space, see above.
Spaceship earth, was closed the first trip and we had our then 22 month old on the last one.
Rock & roller coaster, if I could try it with the lights on. It was the lights on space mountain that did me in.
Star tours, hubby rode alone first, warned me not to try.

That's my "take an air conditioned nap in a cozy chair" ride ... I do it all the time. laugh

Youre not the only one. My dad has a few of those rides.

My turn!

1. Hall of Presidents - just not interested. At all. Even when we are there for 10 days or more, and I say "With all this time, we *must* do HoP this time! We must!!"....we get there and I can't Tongue
2. Carousel of Progress - see #1
3. The Carousel - I always want to but just never get to it
4. Dumbo - for some reason I just can't bring myself to ride a big elephant
5. Kali River Rapids - I don't like getting soaked and then having to walk around all wet. But we still do Splash Mountain and pray we don't get soaked.

That's my other "air-conditioned nap" attraction. I like to have one on each side of each park. LOL

Splash Mountain is a different kind of wet from Kali River Rapids. Kali River Rapids you can get drenched like you went swimming but with Splash Mountain only part of you gets wet.

WOW hang on here people I've noticed some rids coming up that are classics.

you have all got to ride

Tower of terror- I am still angry with my GF for chickening out, it is by a long way the best attraction at WDW, the queue, pre show, effects are amazing the drop is really nothing and such a small part of it all. I promise you will all love it.

Everest - I'm no coaster junky and the disco yeti is a bit of a let down but again the theme, the queue, the experiance is worth it

Toy story mania- Okay its no worth the crazy wait times, that is madness but it is very fun and really different.

CoP - I know its long, I know it's old and I know its boring but.... it is the only thing that Walt build at WDW its a great piece of history and is from the worlds fair like small world it has to be done, if you dont ride it they will take it away.

Hall of president- well its not great, I am not going to lie. I did like the Americans cheering their favourites though and booing bush jr. lol. politics. I had no interest in this until i watch the modern family episode when they go to disneyland, and jay talks about the first time he ever saw a robot... I now like to see it just to say that after, and make my GF laugh.

I would say try it all, I have a list myself and usally it comes down to time or the that the tomorrowland transit has never been open!!!!!
