Hahaha.... thank you for the vote. I should hire you as a personal manager! Smile

Honestly, just vote for the best picture that you like. No one here should vote for me just because I'm here. Smile Still, I truly appreciate the vote.

Just for that, here's another of my favorite picture. There's 2 reasons why I like this shot:

1. It conveys such a fun and exciting moment, and it brings me back such fond memories that it puts a smile on my face each time I see it.

2. It is such a damn difficult shot to get correctly. You're just coming out of a dark area, so you can't set up your camera ready to snap a picture until the light condition becomes bright. Once you're out, you only have a couple of seconds at the most to get the shot, hoping that your point-and-shoot camera could get all the lighting/focusing/etc. done during that time to allow you to snap the shot. Damn difficult!

So that's why I am fond of this picture. Smile

I wonder if you could have used that one in the "mountains" contest. I can see some mountain in the left hand corner!

I voted for you too Z!

PS. I'd like to join the chorus on how nice the Fantasyland pic is. That's a really great pic!

Thanks very much, Brad.

Unfortunately, I cannot use this picture anymore because I've used it already in a previous contest - I think it was on "Rides". I forget where I ended up in that contest with this picture.

Great thread! There is nothing I love more than looking at peoples Disney photos, especially when they are as beautiful as the ones in this thread!

Thanks for sharing everyone...I'm going to have to go dig up some of my better photos!

I have to say ZapperZ, that shot is actually quite compelling. I can't say why exactly, but I think it's just the composition. The area right in the middle of the focus is actually kind of clear, and then everything in each other quadrant has an element of interest. Or maybe I just like the ride!

I'm a day away from another trip to WDW. This time I'll be fully immersed in all the holiday festivities - will be attending MVMCP on the 11th, and the Yuletide Magic tour on the 13th. So it will be a fun-filled trip.

In the meantime, here are a few parting shots from the last time I was there during the holidays. I can't wait to see it again..

Zzap, those are great! Thanks for the great reminder of the Lights of Winter in Epcot; we really love that.

You're leaving tomorrow, eh?! We're utterly jealous, but are looking forward to all of your great pics. Be safe!

Not sure if this is a tacky thing to do, but I am doing a trip report on WDWMagic, if anyone wants to read it. It's a bit of a chore to do several different trip report on different sites, so this is the only one I'll do.

I'll try to post pictures from this trip here in this forum after I get back and sort through all my pictures. But in the mean time, if you want to see and read what I'm up to, you can read it there, or my blog where I try to report "live" from where I'm at.

Thanks Zzappers! I'm looking foward to keeping up with your pics and updates.

I see that you caught Illuminations with the Holiday ending--isn't that the most outrageous display in the world? Though I've seen it several times, I'm always shocked by the sheer magnitude of it. mickey

Zapperz, your holiday photos are beautiful! My photos of lights never turn out that nice! You made me even more excited to see WDW during the Christmas season!!

These are not the most beautiful pictures, but we thought they were a great way to capture our Disneyland trip!

Here are a few "exclusive" photos from our current trip that I'm not using anywhere else..

How can anyone resist from buying anything when faced with a temptation like this? Smile

More later....

Thanks for the "exclusives" Zzapp!!! stars

I LOOOOOVE that pic of the train station. And the tree at (I'm guessing) World of Disney is certainly a force to be reckoned with in terms of keeping your money in your wallet. I've always been a sucker for stuffed animals--NO reason to EVER buy one, but they're just so cute!! silly

I really enjoy the balloons picture, Zzappers. That would make a fantastic desktop background--so cheery. biggrin

More exclusive photos from our current trip.

There's something special about this shield chandelier at AKL. There's a hidden Mickey in it. Can you spot it? I finally found it on this trip.

The tree in front of the America pavilion at Epcot.

And it looks like there's some long sleeves down there--how's the weather been this trip?

Love the photo of the chandelier at AKL. Thanks for pointing out the hidden Mickey, I would have missed it!

You are making me excited to stay there in August! yay

There have been days when it was quite chilly. I was wearing layers of t-shirts and a sweater for MVMCP. But I think the forecast for the rest of our trip will be warm (high 70's and low 80's even). So it will be nice.

Anyway, we spent the evening at the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights. It was awesome. Took lots of pictures, and lots of video footage. I will upload the video after we get back home. In the meantime here are some pictures I took at the Osborne lights and around DHS.

Looking at the Pixar Studios.

Along the main entrance.

Chinese theater.

The color on the Chinese Theater picture is outstanding, Zzappers. That's a keeper for your next contest.

Zzappers--thanks for taking time out of your day to post these pics. It's so hard to get well-composed pictures of the Osborne Spectacle; I'm assuming you used a tripod and staked your claim to avoid people passing in front of you, yes?

The carolers and brownstones picture is just fantastic. It reminds me of being in Brooklyn...

I was also wondering how they would decorate Pixar Place!

I'm glad to hear you're in for some warm weather for the rest of your trip--it's freezing everywhere else, it seems! How much longer are you folks there?
