I'm home sick with a sinus infection tonight... this is fun. I went to Disney, well Orlando, for two weeks every year as a kid, we had (well still have) a timeshare at the Marriott World Center, though my father trades it it for more exotic locales lately Smile These are in random order...and some are blasts from the past!

-Bistro de Paris -Upstairs- (We saw Drew Carrey here many many years ago!)

-Brown Derby (love the Cobb Salad and my mom's stories about going to the REAL Brown Derby in Cali)

-Sci-Fi Drive In (just so fun!!)

-Alfredos... the original Italian eatery in Epcot (my dad has a framed picture of us there circa 1989 in his office, he's holding up a big shrimp in his hand Smile

-Il Mulino at the Swan (went last year and it was one of the best meals we've had, ever. The spaghetti carbonara and the veal saltimboca were TDF!)

-The Crab House (This is actually off-property in the Goodings Shopping Center just outside the World Gates... they give you mallets at the table to crack your shellfish... imagine THAT as a kid Smile

-Nine Dragons, China in Epcot (the food was great and they had this great watermelon juice type thing that was so good!)

-San Angel Inn (who doesn't love the ambiance in Mexico? I had my first margarita here!)

-Pecos Bill, MK (I have lots of memories of grabbing a quick sandwich here)

-And Paris, downstairs (I love french food. Last time I ate here my family came right from Soarin' and I was queasy! French Onion soup cures all ails!)

Thanks for reading my trip down memory lane. I can't wait to go back in November!!

What's your pick for dishes at Yak and Yeti? We've enjoyed everything we've eaten there but nothing's knocked our socks off.

Hi cdub -

I loved the mahi mahi and the shaoxing steak & shrimp. I thought those were both superb.

But...what really knocked my socks off was the mango pie! Holy cow, I still think about it. And I don't even really care for mangos! I only ordered it because we had the dining plan, and I wasn't really hungry after the main course. But I took a bite just to say I tried it, and thought it was ok. Then I took another bite...and another...and another! It was just so creamy and refreshing. I'm a chocolate dessert fan generally, but this really left a lasting impression.

Aha! Those entrees are a bit fishy! Although I do shrimp sometimes. I haven't tried the mango pie. Did you happen to take a picture?

I've heard great things about the Mango Pie and the Cream Cheese wontons at yak and yeti, but haven't been there, yet.
