Writer’s Stop to Remain Open for a Little Longer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The popular Writer's Stop at Disney's Hollywood Studios is reportedly not closing on April 2 with the majority of the Streets of America. According to several reports, the coffee shop will become the Sci-Fi Dine-In Lounge on April 3.

Refurbishment Project announced for the Magic Kingdom’s Central Plaza

One of the most congested areas at the Magic Kingdom, the Central Plaza, is about to go through a major refurbishment project.

Disney recently announced that the "hub" between the end of Main Street U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle is going to be expanded with several new elements including gardens, additional pathways, restaurant seating, and a special viewing area for fireworks.

A Walk Down Main Street USA

Main Street, U.S.A. is the first "themed land" inside the main entrance at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom and other Disney Parks around the world. As you walk beneath the train station overhead, you cross through a portal to another time. You notice that there's a Victorian theme throughout Main Street, yet the architectural styles represent several distinct areas of the country.
