New Locations for Star Wars Droid Factories

Star Wars fans now have two more places to build their very own droid. During last year's Star Wars Weekends, guests were introduced to the "build your own droid" experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Tatooine Traders (where droids are still being built today). And now that experience is also available at the Downtown Disney Marketplace and in Disneyland.

New Droid Building Kits Coming To DHS

Ever wanted to have a droid a la Luke Skywalker in Star Wars? Well, you're in luck because the Droid Factory is coming soon to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Work started on this concept back in 2009, and when the Droid Factory debuts during Star Wars Weekends at DHS, there will be some 71 different pieces guests can choose from to build and name their own 3 3/4 inch droid. Guests choose a dome and body from many different colors and can add in other options like hats.

View Galactic Treasures At Star Wars Launch Bay

I've been meaning to write a post about Star Wars Launch Bay for quite awhile now, however there is so much great stuff packed into this space it was hard to know where to start. So - I'm going to let my camera do most of the talking on this one. I hope you enjoy this small peak into this intriguing Star Wars experience currently at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Find the Droids You’re Looking for at Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Just in time to celebrate all things Star Wars Weekends, we're talking about Tatooine Traders at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This store is located at the exit of Star Tours and it was built to resemble the Mos Espa village in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

When Tatooine Traders originally opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios it was called Endor Vendors and was built to resemble the Endor shield generator bunker from Return of the Jedi.
