Two More Names Added to List of Celebrity Narrators for the 2014 Candlelight Processional

Two more celebrity narrators have been announced for the 2014 Candlelight Processional at Epcot.

Jonathon Groff, the voice of Kristoff in Disney's hit film Frozen, and Joe Morton from ABC's hit show Scandal have been added to the list of narrators.

In addition to Frozen, Groff is a Tony Award-nominated Broadway actor and has also been seen on Glee. Morton has also been seen on Broadway, television, and in film.

Winter Holiday Season at the Walt Disney World Resort Includes Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and More

In a little less than a month the winter holiday season gets underway at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The very first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is scheduled for November 7 at the Magic Kingdom.

This special ticketed event happens on select nights through December 19 and guests will be able to enjoy Mickey's Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa on Main Street, U.S.A., a holiday version of Celebrate the Magic, and Holiday Wishes nighttime fireworks.

The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show Replaces Off Kilter in Epcot’s Canada Pavilion

Off Kilter is officially gone from Epcot and the lumberjacks have taken their place.

The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show made its Epcot debut on October 3, according to the show's official Facebook page.

According to reports the show is being called the 'Canadian Lumberjack Show' and it will be performed on the same stage that was home to Off Kilter.

Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights Live Event Cut Back to One Night Per Week

One of the new special events for this year's Epcot Food and Wine Festival has already gone through a schedule change.

The nighttime party, Epcot Food and Wine Late Nights Live, was originally scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights during the Festival, but is now only available on Thursday nights.

The three-hour street party takes place every Thursday evening beginning at 9:45 p.m. and it lasts until 1 a.m. The party is located between the United Kingdom Pavilion and World Showcase Plaza.

Manatee Finds New Home at Epcot’s The Seas with Nemo & Friends

One of the residents at Epcot's The Seas with Nemo & Friends might be the most well-traveled manatee ever.

His name is Lil Joe and the 25-year-old manatee has lived at several zoos and theme parks around the country.

He was first rescued back in 1989 in the Halifax River and his first temporary home was at Sea World in Orlando.

He went on to live in San Deigo, Cincinnati, and Tampa. In all, Lil Joe has lived in five different locations in his lifetime.

When the 2014 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival kicks off next month guests can feast their eyes on more than just the food.

Disney recently gave fans a sneak peek at some of this year's Festival merchandise and it features two art designs: "Taste Your Way Around the World" and "Brews Around the World." Both art designs will be featured on a variety of the merchandise.

Epcot’s Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure Now Using New Smartphones

Agent P's World Showcase Adventure in Epcot is now using new Nokia smartphones from AT&T.

The interactive game had been using Verizon Samsung flip-phones for the last two years. AT&T became the official wireless provider for the Walt Disney World Resort in August 2013.

The new smartphones have a much larger screen than the old flip phones and reportedly the quality of the audio is improved. And since it's a smartphone, it also features a touch screen.

Academy Award Winning ‘Frozen’ Songwriters Visit Walt Disney World with their Kids

The songwriters behind Let It Go recently visited Walt Disney World with their kids.

Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez won the Oscar for Let It Go and also penned the musical score for Frozen.

While at the Magic Kingdom the songwriting duo made a visit to the Princess Fairytale Hall to check in with Anna and Elsa.

Fourth of July at Walt Disney World Includes Patriotic Fun and Entertainment for Guests

The summer season at Walt Disney World is in full swing, and the Fourth of July is just around the corner.

Guests who visit Walt Disney World on July 3 and 4 will be able to celebrate Independence Day with special tributes in several of the resort's theme parks.

The Magic Kingdom is celebrating the Fourth of July with a 14-minute, 360-degree fireworks display, Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky." The fireworks display is planned for July 3 and 4 at 9 p.m.

New Alex and Ani Bracelets Featuring Disney Parks Icons and Characters Now at Disney Parks

The Alex and Ani Disney Collection is now sporting all-new icon charms.

The collection was made up of more than eight different Disney symbols, birthstones, and initials and the new additions include signature charms inspired by Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Later this month Mickey's Fun Wheel from Disney California Adventure joins the collection.

Epcot was one of Walt Disney's original visions. Originally standing for the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, it was actually intended to be much more of the basis for Walt Disney World than the Magic Kingdom. Eventually however his initial vision proved too grand to be carried out and it became the less expansive park that you see today.
