2012 Food and Wine Festival Marketplace Booth Menus

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is taking place from September 28-November 12, 2012 at the Walt Disney World Resort. I can't wait to get back down to Disney and experience all the wonderful flavors of the world that this event offers. From the chatter going on over in the Walt Disney world For Grown Ups Forum, many of you can't wait either!

Oaxacan Wood Carvings in Epcot's Mexico

One of the most beautiful and delightful parts of the Mexican Pavilion at Walt Disney World's Epcot has got to be "Animales Fantasticos." Located in the entrance hall of the Temple building, guests can't help but linger in the Gallery of Mexican Folk Art. This the collection of colorful Oaxacan woodcarvings, is both an enchanting display of skilled craftsmanship and a wonderful idea for a souvenir or gift for someone back home.

Wine & Champagne Kiosk in Epcot's France

Perhaps one of the least assuming places to grab a fantastic cocktail is the small Kiosk on the side of the water in Epcot's France Pavilion. This small but bustling booth serves up a variety of French alcoholic delights. You can fine nine selections of wines, the French Beer Kronenbourg 1664 and chilled shots of Grand Marnier.

Fantasmic! A Disney Hollywood Studios Nighttime Spectacular

When the sun goes down at Walt Disney World it doesn't have to be time to head home. My family loves to spend nighttime in the parks and explore all of the magical details of Disney after dark. Fans know that some of the most spectacular shows and effects that Disney has created to entertain the masses happen at the end of the night. Fan favorites include "Wishes" Magic Kingdom Fireworks, Epcot's "Illuminations: Reflections of Earth", and my favorite at Disney's Hollywood Studios "Fantasmic!"

It's no surprise that the intense theming at this original WDW Resort goes a long way to create dedicated hotel fans. That sweeping tropical feeling can truly transport you to another time and place, without a doubt Disney's Polynesian Resort ran away with the title!

The California Grill Lounge at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Perched high above Walt Disney World Resort on the 15th Floor of the Disney's Contemporary Resort is a bar & lounge with some of the most coveted seating around. Connected to the the exquisite culinary genius of Chef Brian Piasecki's California Grill, the California Grill Lounge serves the same award winning food & wine as in the restaurant.

Favorite Time of Year to Visit Walt Disney World

One would think that a Disney fan's favorite time to go to Disney Parks would be the most popular time of year, but that's just not so. The heat and crowds of the popular summer season can almost send even the most dedicated fan into a tither. Many families choose to travel only when their kids are out of school, and this makes for crowds of (sometimes first time) guests struggling to get to their rides in elbow to elbow masses.

Date Night at Disney's Polynesian Resort

A breeze from Polynesia gently welcomes you as you walk through the doors to the Great Ceremonial House. At Disney's Polynesian Resort you can immerse yourself in a trip to the islands as you shop, dine, and relax for a romantic tropical date night at Walt Disney World.
