Looking Back: The Art of Skiing, A Goofy Short

With much of the country covered in snow, I thought it might be the perfect time to sit back and watch a little instructional video by our favorite Goof.

The 2014 Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights [Video]

It started back in 1986 when a little girl named Breezy asked her Dad if they could string a few Christmas lights at their Little Rock, Arkansas home. That display grew and grew each year until 1995, when the display was shut down by court order. After national attention was brought to the case, the Walt Disney Company stepped in and offered up residential street on the Studios Backlot Tour where it was an instant hit. Eventually, as the focus of the Backlot Tour changed the holiday lights were moved to the Streets of America.

With Love to Disney’s Fab Five Father – Goofy

While we all know that Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are well known to be Uncles, Goofy is the only one that can claim the title of Father. He's used a wide range of names since his creation for "Mickey's Review" in 1932. He's been called Dippy Dawg, George Geef, or G. G. Geef, John, James Boyd, Goofy Goof, or G. G. Goof and even occasionally been given as Goofus D. Dawg. No matter what the origins may reveal, we all know him and love him by his nickname "Goofy."

Anything is Possible When You ‘Dream Along With Mickey’ At The Magic Kingdom

While most people head to Epcot for great bands and music, the Magic Kingdom also offers some fun options to see a show, especially if you're traveling with younger guests. Since its debut in 2006, Mickey Mouse and friends have take to the Cinderella Castle Stage several times a day for the spectacular 'Dream Along with Mickey' show.

Mickey Mouse in Lonesome Ghosts

Halloween time at Walt Disney World is a wonderful cacophony of fall colors, villainous characters, and Disney magic. At night Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a hot ticket for pirate and villain lovers. It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit the Parks and to celebrate the spooktacular Halloween holiday in a fun way that's not too scary.
