Candlelight Processional Dining Package Restaurants and Prices Announced for 2015

We might have just celebrated the official first day of summer, but it's never too early to start planning for your holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. And to help you with your plans Disney has released the restaurants that are participating in this year's Candlelight Processional dining packages.

New Jungle Cruise-Themed Restaurant Might be Coming to the Magic Kingdom

There is some exciting restaurant news to report! If the rumors are true (and we hope they are), there just might be a new Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. The rumored spot would be located at the Adventureland Veranda, right next to the new location of the Sunshine Tree Terrace.

Celeb Meals Coming To WDW As Part of Food & Wine Fest

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is just around the corner, and this year there are a few meals with celebrities planned as part of the fest. In October, guests can choose to rub elbows and break bread with the likes of Cat Cora, John Lasseter, Andrew Zimmern and the Voltaggio brothers this October.

First up is a five-course dinner with Cat Cora at her Disney Boardwalk restaurant, Kouzzina by Cat Cora. Guests can sign up for either the October 2 or October 4 meal. Cost is $170 per person.

New Buffet Trialed at Disney's Coronado Springs

Guests going to grab a bite to eat at the Pepper Market, an eating destination in Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, may have noticed a change recently. A new buffet concept has been rolled out and trialed with guests there in place of the Market's food court.

While the Pepper Market looks much the same, the change comes in that guests will pay a set price for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet filled with many food dishes instead of paying for different items at different stations.

Two New Dining Experiences at Disney

There are two new dining experiences on the horizon for Walt Disney World guests - a character lunch and a holiday dinner.

First off, the Animal Kingdom's Tusker House will be expanding the Donald and Daisy-themed character breakfast to include a character lunch. Starting December 4, the Donald's Dining Safari lunch will let guests enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet with African touches in a character dining atmosphere. Reservations for this new experience began September 15.

Epcot Candelight Processional Packages Now Available for Booking

Not too long ago, we brought you the lineup for this year's Candlelight Processional. We are happy to pass along the news that you can now book your package for this year's Processional.

Disney's Animal Kindgom Lodge is trialing a new program that will give guests an in-depth look at the animals at the park as well as a taste of African cuisine. "Dine with an Animal Specialist" will let guests spend some time with an expert caretaker of the animals at the Kingdom and also give them lunch at one of WDW's most popular restaurants, Sanaa.

Lunch Island Style at Disney's Polynesian Village's Capt. Cook's

There are a lot of reasons to go check out Disney's Polynesian Village Resort right now. There's the refreshed Lobby, Pineapple Lani, a re-imagined Feature Pool, new DVC Villas and the fabulous Trader Sam's Grog Grotto - all open and welcoming Guests. However for a fabulous quick service lunch off the beaten path, one of my favorites can be found at the Polynesian Village's Capt. Cook's.

Get Ready To runDisney: Carb-loading In The Magic Kingdom

Making sure that your body has enough energy to run the race is an important part of any runDisney Vacation. With the Walt Disney World Marathon taking place January 7th - 11th, 2015 we thought we'd take a look at some healthy options for carb loading while still enjoying your time at the Parks. Carb-loading can help you have enough energy to finish the race without hitting the wall.

Ride a Viking Ship and Snack on Schoolbread in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot The Norway Pavilion

Ride a Viking Ship and Snack on Schoolbread in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot. The Norway Pavilion takes guests into the heart of Scandanavia as they enter a town square that was designed to resemble the cities of Oslo, Bergen, Alesund, and Setesdahl.

Where to Eat at Epcot – Tangierine Café in Morocco Pavilion

One of my absolute favorite "quick service" locations in all of Epcot is the Tangierine Cafe in the Morocco Pavilion. From the authentic and delicious food to the great seating areas - inside and out - this location is always top on my list when I'm visiting Epcot.

We will get to the food, but let's first talk a little bit about the gorgeous design of the restaurant and the pavilion itself.

Lunch at Chefs De France Has An Authentic Atmosphere

There are so many places to eat in Epcot it can be trouble choosing which restaurant to try. When you add in the ones that are a must visit on every visit it can be hard to try and fit in new places. On our most recent trip we finally were able to squeeze in a meal at Chefs de France. It's been on the must-try list for some time now however it took a while to reach the top as we visit the 'real' France frequently and were worried that it wouldn't compare.

Meals With Character – The Crystal Palace and The Garden Grill

Some people might think "Oh, character meals are just for kids!" but we think otherwise. While there may be a few character meals geared more toward kids (think: Hollywood and Vine at breakfast and lunch), the majority of character meals at Walt Disney World are just perfect for "kids" of all ages!

Columbia Harbour House in the Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square

On a recent visit to the Magic Kingdom it was about 3 p.m. when I realized (1) I was starving and (2) I wasn't going to get anywhere near Casey's because Main Street was a mass of humanity thanks to the parade. As disappointed as I was to not be eating corn dog nuggets and fries with cheese, I had another less hectic location in mind. So, in an attempt to avoid the crowds my friend and I headed through the castle, walked past the very long lines at Peter Pan's Flight and it's a small world, turned the corner and then it hit us.

Epcot's Morocco Offers a Romantic Respite

Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park offers many great spots to take time out for a little romance. The Moroccan Pavilion is one of my favorite places to spend some time with my husband. Full of twist and turns you can almost imagine getting lost in the streets of the city. From the sweet smells of orange when the tangerines are in bloom, to the splash of the fountain, this pavilion's design was overseen by the King of Morocco's personal architect to be sure that Disney got it right. The Moroccan Pavilion offers a mystical world to be lost in, and is a delightful escape.
