Being an owner of a major sports team is not new for the Disney family; they once owned the Angels before selling the team in 2002.

Back in 2009, Disney bought fifteen acres of property on the outskirts of the District of Columbia in hopes of constructing a standalone, Disney-themed hotel. The move was part of a larger strategy to build such hotels and even mini theme parks at various locations throughout the country.

Last month, I had the chance to visit and spend a few hours learning about the man that brought so much happiness to this world.
