We have hit single digits!!! (Well yesterday officially). We have our Magic Bands, ME passes, and we are impatiently waiting to get to DISNEY! We have added a couple of meet-ups which I am excited about and I also found out that my roommate from the college program will be at Disney the same time we are. It has been 10 years since our program, so a bit of a reunion will be in place

WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!!! I don't know how I am going to make it through 1 1/2 more days of work......I keep looking at our plans and checking and double checking ADR's and FP+ LOL.
You'll make it. just think.. At this time Friday you'll be already relaxing at Disney!

So Yak & Yeti was amazing! Had to do the Angus burger since so many of you rave about it. Hubby got the ribs which were also amazing. AK was a little busier than our last trip. Not sure if the construction walls are blocking some of the pathways, but seemed way busier to me. Dinner was at Sanaa and it was incredible! Only issue we have had today was getting to/from DTD. What a nightmare. Waited for 45 minutes at AKL for the DTD bus and waited 40 minutes this morning to get a bus from DTD to BWV. At Raglan Road having a cocktail now and just relaxing. Tomoorow is DHS and Yachtsman Steakhouse.
Well, we returned to Michigan today to a not so warm temp of 45. We had an amazing time on our Disneymoon and I will start on the trip report tomorrow, but I do have some super exciting news I just had to share with my Disney Family! We took the plunge and purchased DVC!!!!!! I cannot even tell you how excited I am that we are part of the Disney Vacation Club Family!

Time to finally start the Trip Report!
Day 1: Thursday Sept. 25
I had to work this day so you can only imagine how anxious I was literally ALL day long. My DH Jake had the day off so he was in charge of making sure all the luggage was ready and packed in the car to pick me up at 4:00 to head to the airport. While I was basically useless at work, my boss let me leave early so off we went to Detroit Metro Airport. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 7:45 p.m. We got to the airport, parked and off to drop our bags since we did online check in. Security was a breeze (note to self leaving in the afternoon/evening on a Thursday is great). Off we went to find some dinner. We ended up stopping to get some schwarma which was ok then I found a wine bar so we each had a red wine flight to prep for the actual flight. We upgraded to Economy Comfort on Delta which was definitely worth the extra money as we got free movies/tv and had extra leg room. The flight was uneventful and we landed on time in Orlando. Since we got in so late we retrieved our luggage and headed off to the Magical Express. This of course was our first test of the Magic Bands and I made sure to have the actual passes with us just in case. The bands worked just fine and off we were to stay the night at All Star Sports. The ride to the resort was quick and we were the second stop (first was Coronado Springs).
We went to the online check-in desk and there were about 4 groups ahead of us all of whom were waiting to speak to managers regarding issues with Magic Bands...uh oh! This made us a little concerned, but once we finally checked in and were given our pins we headed to the room and once again the bands worked perfectly. Now we had stayed at All Star Sports last time we went on vacation and we didn't really mind it, but for whatever reason coming back to it we were a little disappointed. Our toilet was running all night, but we didn't want to complain as we were literally only there to sleep one night. We went to sleep and had the alarm set for 7:00 so we could get ready to transfer to the Boardwalk and prepare for our first park day...Animal Kingdom!
