Can't agree more, Kristen! We saw it this afternoon and I was crying my eyes out for a good chunk of time. I lost my mom at Merida's age, so the entire relationship and them needing each other struck a wonderful emotional chord. The familial bond reminded me of The Incredibles, Up, and Toy Story as well, it's a theme that Pixar handles wonderfully.
Also, we got way too excited when we spotted the Pizza Planet truck! 
Where was the pizza planet truck?
It was the silliest of cameos so far. There was a carving of the truck in the witch's shop.
