While I was working on Tuesday, I got the privilege to talk to Ridley Pearson and his family when they stopped by the fastpass+ kiosk. I was explaining to them on how the system works because they were asking questions about it. I then realized that the one guy who was a Kingdom Keepers embroidered shirt was Ridley Pearson. He gave me a hug once I made sure it was him (that would be embarrassing if it wasn't). My day was completely made and I got to fan girl once he left. He is a very nice guy. He also mentioned that another book is coming out in February.

You are so lucky to have met Ridley Pearson! His books were a fun read with the exception of the scene that takes place in Small World. That was just plain creepy!! eek

This is the second time I've met him. I met him a few months ago when he came to WDW for book signings and to promote the last book.

I know back around Christmas I mentioned about going on a carriage ride with a guy friend. I am pleased to announce that we have been doing very well. We have been getting to know each other and have been getting closer. Last night he asked me if I would be his Belle to his Beast and be his date to Be Our Guest. Then we hung out at Magic Kingdom until park close. We had such a great time together. Next up is a date to Universal Studios.

thank you! I'm so excited. Tomorrow we are going to Universal together and he is picking me up. that's a first. He also mentioned that he didn't have the Simba plush. I also found out that he didn't have the Nala plush as well. the Disney Store online was having a sale on them plus I got my discount. so they were super cheap. I'm giving him the plushies tomorrow. While at work yesterday, I got to meet James Arnold Taylor. he felt bad that I had a 11hours that day.

Yay!! I look forward to meeting you!!

Since some of you are very interested in my budding romance, here a little more. Honestly I like telling people about it. He came over and picked me up for our date at Universal around 1:30 in the afternoon. On the way there, we talked about various stuff then once we got there, we had lunch at Moe's at Citywalk. Then we talked about more stuff over lunch then we headed to Studios side first. We did Shrek 4-D then we headed over and rode the mummy then we headed over to Diagon Alley. Gringotts had an extremely long wait so we decided to get some ice cream. He paid for both of our ice creams then we headed around the park as we ate our ice creams. I got the butterbeer ice cream and boy is it good! we stopped over at the kidzone area to check out the curious george play area and we spent a little time in the ball factory where we turned five years old lol. We headed over to Woody Woodpeckers rollercoaster and rode that. We took a picture in front of the Barney Statue then we headed over to IOA. We proceed to go to super hero island where conquered the hulk (after we locked in and headed up the hill, he said he hated that ride and he hates me) then we braved Doctor Dooms Fearfall Tower. After that we headed to the Jurassic River Adventure, where he looked at the Jurassic World merchandise. Then we headed over to Hogsmeade where we waited in line for Forbidden Journey. Just wow, the line for that ride is amazing. After that the park was pretty much closed and we headed back to his car. Once we got back to his car, he opened up his surprise from me. He was in shock and happy. We spent about 8 hours together, not once did we run out of things to talk about or fight at all besides the friendly fight after we rode the Hulk. while we waited in line for Forbidden Journey, he gave me homework to watch the first four Harry Potter movies by Saturday since I really haven't watched them.

I'm glad things are looking up for you and yes the Harry Potter movies(and books) are really really good. I love the HP sections at UniStu and the Simpsons area. It's very well done. If you get a chance you should ride the Gringott's ride.

I have ridden Gringotts but I was left disappointed because I had heard that it was a roller
coaster and it wasn't a roller coaster. I like it though but not worth the hype it got.

Gringotts is a rollercoaster but not in the traditional sense. It's more of a refined version of the Spider-Man/Transformers ride where you get spun round and dropped and have things blasted at you, but it's on rails rather than how they do it in those two rides - or maybe it's exactly the same. Most of the dark rides in Universal follow the same pattern so they're improving on one thing more than introducing new things. (this made sense in my mind when I thought of it...not so much now!)

Maybe your right Sid but when the signs say a high speed roller coaster, I think of like Rockin'n'Roller Coaster or the Hulk. My problem with it that first time was that I was expecting one thing and got another. It's an incredible ride and Universal did Harry Potter very well. I love the theming and how immersive it is.

It's the best realised part of the park to be honest. Shame they lost the tram tour and Jaws, but they gained a very good attraction.
