My manager at work was telling me yesterday she bought the autograph pen for her neice and nephew last year when they went and it didn't last long. To play it safe, I bought a retractable sharpie as a back up.

Smart to play it safe and have a backup plan!!
I have 2 of the pens - one I got in 2005 and the other in 2009 - both still working fine. Hope you are as lucky with yours!!

That's a great idea. I've been looking for autograph books for our trip but haven't seen any I like that comes with a pen. Maybe making one like Mirrasi will fit my needs better.

Good plan. Jeff got the sturdy ones...our first one didn't last long, but the replacement - 2 yrs old I think - is doing ok
