I am hitting Space Ship Earth today. Love the People Mover you can see so many cool parts of MK from it. Last year we even saw someone being carried out on a stretcher. It was May it was hot that day.

Spaceship earth is definately more iconic than the People mover, but I've already hit the PM once and don't feel I should hit it again.

I'm not scared! I'll do it! Space Ship Earth is okay.. but moves too slowly. PM is amazing and fun to ride at night and during the day... bye bye SE

This may be a dumb question...but why did they get rid of the skyway anyway? it seems really awesome!
It seems that as the cars were travelling ABOVE everyone, certain immature individuals were trying to hit the people walking below with anything and everything that was expendible that they had with them.
I've never heard of Mike Fink Keel Boats, so maybe it is just DL.
As for that "do once but never again" list...are you kidding? Hall of Presidents, It's a Small World, and Carousel of Progress are must-dos EVERY trip for me. But the Enchanted Tiki Room, yeah, that's a once and done.

Haha - welcome to your polar opposite! Never done HoP or CoP and the Tiki Room is a must do every time. That's the fun of these boards - everyone's Disney adventure is unique and we love it all

This is disturbing on many levels. I Googled it. Interesting! But no clue.
I asked Joe if he knew about it, and he says we rode it once our first time there and it was so cold. I remember nothing about it and don't even remember seeing signs for it. At. All!
I shall take this time to reflect. And reevaluate my worthiness....
I agree with Jess this is shocking to me! They've re-done it semi recently (in the last 5 years) before it was nice but a real snoozer. It's much better know with Donald!

Most amusement parks seemed to take down their sky rides at the same time across the country. It seems very few amusement parks have bucket rides left. I remember at one park a worker was killed when someone started up the bucket ride while he was working on one of the support structures. Many stories of having to shut them down in windy situations for safety reasons made them unprofitable to keep. But they all seemed to come down at the same time. In the past 10 years or so, the only place I have ridden a bucket ride is at the San Diego Zoo.

I think I was one of the few people who really liked the make over of the Enchanted Tiki room when it was hosted by Zazu and Iago.
