You know, a lot of people underestimate the amount Disney cosplay that goes on at anime and comic cons. The one that we go to in the autumn I'll have to keep an eye out for photos for you guys, some of them are beyond belief.

We go to ACen which is near Chicago usually in April/May, we also did Comic Con Chicago last year. There's a lot of Disney Prince/Princess couples that show up, and lots of Kingdom Hearts, Pirates, never a shortage. I was sitting on a bench at the past Con an this cute red head walked by in khaki cargo pants and a black turtle neck, and suddenly it hit me that she was Kim Possible! LoL... she looked great and so subtle. I really want to put my oldest daughter in Belle's Blue dress but I don't sew.

I think that one of the things I like most about closet cosplay is that it can be empowering. If you need to give yourself a little attitude lift you can just think about which character you want to take on and put a touch of them into your wardrobe.

That Kim Possible sounds neat! I love the subtle ones that make you think and wonder for a minute. There's something about the Disney characters that people really relate to, which is wonderful. I personally don't cosplay, as I like to bar-hop after cons and that's not usually the best option for roaming a city at 1am laugh

But man, the people who do it love it! And the people who dress as their respective Disney favorites seem to love it the most.
