Tow Mater doesn't need a tune up. The Disney mechanics take real good care of him. He's not the only that does that.

As has already been said, AWESOME Devine pics. Hubby was so disappointed that we didn't see her when we were there. He kept his eyes peeled constantly while we were in AK after I told him about her, but no such luck sad I agree with you on Yak & Yeti, though! The Kobi burger was hands down my favorite thing we ate on our trip last year. I'm craving it so hard after seeing your picture! And that's so sad that your DH got to see so little of the World that he didn't even know Spaceship Earth was a ride! But by the looks of your pictures he made up for it on this trip. You two look like you had an absolute blast!

Day 10 - HS and Epcot F&W
Today was Halloween so we decided to split the day between HS and Epcot. I loved HS and hubs loves Epcot, so this was the compromise.

I scheduled FP+ on my phone for TSM, TOT & RRC for the morning and off we went. We basically wandered around in between the rides, taking in more of the park that I hadn't spent much time on the day before. We decided to try the ABC commissary for lunch. I had the chicken sandwich and hubs had the cheeseburger with shrimp on top. The chicken sandwich was ok, but nothing to write home about but I did order the same carrot cake cupcake again. Yum.

I was excited to find the Ruby Slippers in the concrete; although I found out I could never have worn them (tiny feet!). We went into "The Magic of Disney Animation" and looked at everything and then I was outside, trying to catch a glimpse of Jake and Sophia, I looked up and saw a Mickey cloud! I snapped a pic real quick and for whatever reason, it brought a tear to my eye and made my day. I did catch Sophia and Jake walking through the area, but the lines were long and they are not characters that do anything for me.

We left around 1:00 and decided to take the boat to Epcot since I had never seen those resorts. I enjoyed the ride over and getting to see the Boardwalk area. When we got to Epcot, what did we run into first? Ha. The Evil Stepmother and Stepsisters! I loved them. They were about the funniest characters ever. The line was long and the CM was saying that they were getting ready to leave, but I enjoyed their antics. We circled around, went and saw the Canadian movie and hubs grabbed some beers. We mostly went in and out of each country looking at the shops. In Mexico, we rode the Gran Fiesta Tour and then spent time watching the glass maker. It was getting hot when we came out, so I had to have a margarita to help keep me cool. I got the mango one and it was really good. We also decided to try the Seared Mahi Mahi with Jasmine Rice and "Singa" Sauce from Singapore. Oh my. This was my favorite, so we had another!

We caught Soarin again, but there were no FP left for Test Track. It was getting later in the day, so we figured we better figure out what we were doing for dinner before Illuminations. My hubs loves Mexican food, so we went back there and check with the CM at San Angel Inn to see if they could get us in. They said they could but it would be about 45 minutes. That was fine and we just shopped around the pavilion and ran into Donald Duck. Our buzzer went off and we were seated. This ended up being a very romantic, low-lit place to eat. They took our order and brought us a basket of chips and salsa. I tried to get pics, but it was very dark in there and I didn't want to use my flash and disturb others, so they are kind of dark. I had "Pollo a las RajasGrilled" - chicken breast served with red peppers & onion cream sauce, poblano rice, and queso fresco with "Pastel de Queso"- con Cajeta Cheesecake with caramel sauce "cajeta" for dessert. Hubs had the "Mole Poblano"- Grilled chicken breast served over poblanco rice, with a classic "mole", made with nuts, spices, chiles and a hint of cocoa and the "Mousse de Chocolate"- Chocolate mousse and almond brittle candy for dessert. It was all really tasty.

We staked out a good spot for Illuminations and got a couple of more drinks. I loved Illuminations and it was just as peaceful and calm as it was before. We walked with everyone else towards the entrance and caught the bus back to the resort. When we got there, since it was Halloween, they had carved pumpkins all lit up around the docks. It was really pretty walking back to the room with the glow from the pumpkins.

We also did ride "The Great Movie Ride" and got the gangster. Smile

Day 11 - Last Day - Magic Kingdom
We got up early and finished packing, checked out and loaded everything in the car. The plan was to spend the last day at MK, see Wishes and the Electric parade and then go back to the car and drive off property to spend the night. Well, from my earlier post, you can see that it didn't work out that way. I didn't realize they were having another MNSSHP that evening, so the park was closing at 7:00 pm. I was bummed, but decided there was always next time. So we ended up spending the day in MK and then driving over to DTD for dinner and more shopping before we left.

We spent the day again trying to see things we had missed and redoing things with short lines. I scheduled SM, TM and Buzz Lightyear on my phone and away we went. I wanted to see the talking Mickey, so we went in there first. I loved him and he played a "card trick" with us. We caught the stage show and ran into "Push". We caught the Laugh Floor, which I thought was hilarious and Stitches great escape. We also went the back way and came out in the Storybook Circus area where we met all the characters. I wanted to ride "Dumbo" although I think we were the only adults in line without any children! Caught the Little Mermaid again, and meandered the shops in Fantasyland one more time. We ate lunch at Cosmic Rays again and had the cheeseburgers.

I had figured out that we still had 3 snack credits each, so we used one on a frozen strawberry lemonade because it was getting so hot today. One thing we had missed the first day was the daytime parade. We grabbed great seat in a wall, right past the turn in Liberty Square and it ended up being the best spot. Just about every character came over to see us and the characters on the floats were waving directly at us. The funniest thing was the Evil Stepmother and Stepsisters. She came running over to us and looked at my hubs and said, "Do you have any possible suitors that you could introduce me to?" I replied, "Are you talking about for yourself or THEM? (glancing at the stepdaughters)". She replied, "Oh Dearie no, for THEM!" I shook my head quickly and said, "Uh....NO. All we have is sisters then!" She made a face at me and "Hmmmffffffff" and off she went. So much fun! This parade made my trip and I waved and grinned and jumped up and down to the point the characters were laughing at me (see Mary Poppins pic for confirmation).

We went towards Aladdin and Jasmine's area, but it was packed so I told hubs we had to get a regular dole whip before we went any further. I loved it and so did hubs. I wanted to see Tinkerbell, so we did wait about 30 minutes for her. We decided to go ahead and head towards Main Street and do some more shopping. I wanted a couple of ornaments and my plan was to get the new blue Vera Bradley if I could find it. That's when I ran into the Harvey purses! You guys were right! LOVE! Then it became an internal debate because I found the blue Veras as well and loved them. I finally decided I would get the Vera and we picked up several other things for Christmas presents. Sadly, it was getting close to 7:00 so we headed for the entrance. Hubs decided we should eat at Rainforest Cafe in DTD so he called and made a reservation for 8:30 thinking that would give us time to get there. We actually got lucky and caught a bus, was in the car and parked at DTD by 7:30! Rainforest was great. We walked up and told them we were an hour early and they said, "No problem" and seated us immediately. I love rainforest. I had the trio that had steak, ribs and shrimp, with a chocolate suicide cake with raspberry sauce. Hubs had a steak and an apricot and pear ice cream for dessert. While we were waiting for our food, hubs hands me a DW shopping bag. I thought he wanted me to put in on my chair. He told me to open it. At some point while we were shopping, he had snuck and bought me the Harvey's bag I loved so much! It has Cinderella on one side and the Evil Stepmother on the other. He knew I was having a hard time choosing and he told me he wanted me to always remember how much fun we had. He is so dang sweet.

We shopped for a bit longer and then headed towards the car around 10:00. We had been in the car maybe 10 minutes and bam, the sky opened up. It was so bad we could barely see and it was slow going. Now here's what we didn't count on. We decided to drive for a couple of hours and get a hotel as we were wide awake. When we got to that area, every hotel was full! We stopped at 4 different exits and they were having some kind of big gymnastics and basketball tournaments going on and all the hotels were full. We were beginning to think we were going to have to sleep in the car, when at the next exit, we lucked into the last room Hampton Inn had. We crashed into bed around 2:00 am. We were up around 9:00 the next morning and were home by 6:00 pm.

Some of my loot pictured below and I just got my disc back from the Photo Pass +, so I will try to post a few of those in the coming days.

All in all, it was the best trip! We laughed so much and enjoyed everything. Not a drop of rain fell while we were there and the crowd levels were low. I highly recommend MNSSHP and to dress up and have fun. I would have to pick MK as my first choice, followed by HS, Epcot and AK. I loved POR and would definitely stay there again. Of all the food I ate, the Kobi burger still wins and I'm having a hard time picking between TOT and Everest as my favorite ride.

Do I want to go back? Absolutely laugh

I wish I could have one now! I thought it was sad too to hear him talk about it. He had been to Epcot 3 times before and never saw Illuminations even. I think we did make up for it. He was excited as I was to see everything.
