Quality guys - we tend to go for quality around these parts, not quantity. There are no stars, badges and special titles in our forums for a high post count. We're all about helping folks create amazing Disney vacations! So what's your knowledge base? What part of Disney are you the expert in?
P.s. If you say "nonsense" I'll file it under Wonderland and direct all Alice related questions your way.

Hey Kristen..I'll all for quality...I'am glad there's no stars,badges,etc...I'am way too old for school...My knowledge base comes from reading books and learning from others..Now hang with here, I only discovered WDW in 2004 ( tho I did visit DL in 2001 ) So I still consider myself a Disney rookie...I live in a small town in Scotland where our local travel agent has asked my advice on WDW holidays ( more than once ) ...When booking our last trip in 2012, they tried to charge friends of mine $2000 for the dining plan, whilst staying at POFQ.I had to point out to them,on their computer screen that the Q/S stood for quick service as they hadn't clicked it,( it was free ) When the girl in the travel agent clicked the Q/S ,it showed up that indeed the free DDP was included in their vacation package. ...But I learn lots from other Disney lovers..Looking forward to learning lots more on this great and friendly site..

Well that's just plain cool! How fantastic that you were able to help out your friend, that was quite the chunk of savings! What kind of Disney books do you read? Do you collect Travel Guides or do you like reading about Disney History? I love both but rarely have time to crack open a book these days. I have ones sitting on my shelf that I shamefully bought and never got a chance to touch. What's you're favorite Disney book?

I've got the usual travel guides, but last year I bought Passporters..Loved it...Now cooking is a big passion with me..My kitchen looks like an advert for Disney. What with T-Towels,oven mitts, salt & pepper shakers, pizza cutter, bowls and plates, waffle maker,etc,etc...So I love to try,and I mean try, to replicate some stuff..I make a reasonable Magic Cookie Bar..My Key lime pie is awesome ( Tho I say it myself ) My Cajun meatloaf goes down a treat with family & friends..But I've yet to buy a Disney cook book..I tend to look up Disney recipes on line..
Oh I love the Passporter Guide! It really helps folks get organized for their trips. Online is a great resource for Disney recipes. My family loves Walt Disney's chili - however it's a little mild for us so I double the spices. I've always wanted a Disney kitchen, I'm currently trying to convince my husband that we need new dishes. Mickey themed of course!

What Disney recipe site would you recommend.?..I also have a passion for chilli...Made a Texas chilli once with a few drops of a sauce called 100% Pain...It comes from Kansas..Phew!... ....It was hot....
What Disney recipe site would you recommend.?
The Disney Food Blog recipes section is my favorite. I'm a big fan of the DFB for all of my Disney food info needs. Chef Big Fat Panda is adorable, and AJ always has a handle on the latest information.

I also use AllEars.net because Deb has been around forever and it's one of the first Disney sites I started reading way back when.
