WooHoo It's the 7 month mark for booking the Grand Californian DVC studio I wanted, so I was on the phone at 9AM and success yay I booked the first 7 days. Now I have to call daily for the next 4 days but the lady I spoke to indicated that it should be no problem as after New Years is a slower time for bookings. crossfingers Smile mickey

Well it's getting closer and closer, I got some UNMICKEY mail today. A few weeks ago I received our TRAIN tickets (Boston to LA round trip) and today I received our hotel confirmation papers for the Rose Parade portion of our Calif. trip, AND our reserved seat tickets to the Rose Parade clapping yay clapping yay clapping as you can see we are down to 24 days, and of course we already have our room reservations at the Grand Calif. and we also have our 5 day park hoppers. So just about everything is in place. We will be at GC for 2 weeks after the Rose Parade so we are planning on lots of relaxation time AND side trips to San Diego Zoo, LA area sightseeing tours etc. The sightseeing tour Co. pick you up for the various tours right at the GC so that is a huge plus. About the only thing left is to book the Walking in Walt's steps tour (thanks senseicj) and for that they only book it 30 days out, so I will be calling for that in two or three days.

Passage on the Disney Railroad
An Exclusive look at the lobby of the famed Club 33
Private Lunch on Main Street USA
Exclusive Collectible Trading Pin

Awesome!
Don't forget to get Fastpasses for World of Color. The parks are smaller but they are packed with fun. If you can get an ADR at the blue bayou and eat a monte cristo sandwich. I love being inside the pirates ride while having dinner or lunch Smile
I spend more time in FL now that I live in Ohio but for the first 27 years of my life I spent them at DL. It's my sentimental favorite park. muchlove
Have a lovely trip mickey

Well it's time for the latest update on my upcoming Calif. trip. I wish I could change the name of this thread to "It is accomplished", because everything is coming along fabulously. I just got off the phone with DL and I made reservations for the Walking in Walt's footsteps tour which I posted about earlier. Thanks to senseicj who told me of this tour. I also made reservations for the Carthay Circle Restaurant which then qualifies for special reserved space for the World of Color show. (thanks Dee for that tip). Also a special thanks to Brad for his advice on dining in DL. Only 20 days remaining clapping yay stars
