We had to put down one of our Akitas recently and the whole family has been in mourning. I was a basket case that day!

So sorry for your loss. I've lost a cat to Kidney failure as well. Such a shock as it seems to happen so quickly.

I know what your going thro..My Fi-Fi passed away 16 years ago..Time is a healer..Her casket is buried at the bottom of our garden with a little cat placed above the space..

Robyn, so sorry for your loss, I know what you must be going through, believe me. Just remember that your Kitty will be waiting on this side of the Rainbow Bridge to jump into your arms when you meet again. Until then, he will be healed and playing in the warm, green grassy fields with all the others critters that came before him and after him. I'm sure he knows you did everything you could.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty Robyn. Looks like he was a wonderful little guy. It's so hard when we have to say goodbye to our furry friends. They give so much love and ask very little in return.

Oh Robyn! So sorry to hear this My heart goes out to you. It's never easy to lose our furry companions. They become so much a part of our lives. As CCP has said and I think MM, they are our furr babies. I lost my girl almost 17 years ago. I still have an area in my hutch that is a kitty shrine. It's never easy, but I know she isn't suffering anymore.
