Thanks, Ali!

Haha...you definitely have to make a plan and check them both out eventually. The service on DCL is outta this world and DL is so laid back compared to the competitive culture at WDW. It's positively pleasant!

I'm coming to this a little late, apologies. I am so sorry to hear of the loss, I hope that though grief continues things are going well for your family. Sending nothing but love your way. muchlove

OK - trip report. AAAAHhhHHHhhaaa!! SO many of my favorite places and things. I am not officially homesick, as I consider Disneyland my "home" Park.

I always love the Grand Californian, so beautiful and majestic. Storytellers Cafe - delish. All the food pictures made me so hungry.

I'm totally jelly you saw the new Paint The Night Parade. I am just dying to see it!

Every single bit of Disneyland - love love love. Thank you for taking me home for a bit with your report.

Thanks, Kristen. We're all doing pretty well. I visited my grandmother nearly every week, so of course it will be a big adjustment, but I'm really lucky to have had 35 years with her and I'm tremendously grateful that she's no longer in pain.

I want to go back to Disneyland again...and again...and again...I just love Main Street and Fantasyland and the cozy park feel so much! And DCA is just so much fun. And I love the counter service options and the characters and the parades (although I must say that our Festival of Fantasy is top notch). There's just nothing quite like being in Walt's park. Some days at WDW I feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work it takes to transport yourself from one place to another. I love how quickly you can access DL. The whole atmosphere is happier and more peaceful and I just adore it!
