I have to say my favorite speaker was Kaye Malins. She is the Director of the Walt Disney Hometown Museum in Marceline MO. She met Walt and Roy when she was 8 years old. They stayed at her family's home (it was the only place in town with AC) when they came to town for the opening of the community swimming pool in the mid 50s. She was a lifelong friend of the Disney family.

The boy behind Kaye in the first picture is a young Walt. The second picture is of Roy.

I really hate that I missed Tom but not sleeping the day before was taking it's toll on me. Alex was fantastic, very captivating speaker!

I bought a couple Hallmark Ornaments, pins, and Mary Poppins (for 12 bucks). I only had a carry on so I limited myself...

The other couple things are from Sunday when we went to the museum and Wright Bros Monument.

Foiled again! Dern carry-on rules.

Dinner Saturday night was limited to 32 people - four tables of 8 sitting with one of the speakers. With Jim Hill expectantly canceling, they changed dinner to 3 tables (luckily, they didn't sell out). Instead of having one of the speakers at our table for the whole dinner, they rotated them. We got a chance to talk with all of them. It was an enjoyable evening.

The menu was Disney inspired. I wish I had gotten a picture of the menu. Everyone got an Evil Queen bucket with Edna Mode and other gifts.

I love how simple the tables were, yet still undeniably Disney. Small touches can really make a huge difference.
