Jess & Mase Anniversary & Family Trip Report 2013

Got to say, the Magic Bands work really, really well. Pick them up at check in on Friday, already bought Em's an "add-on" for hers(Disney are sooooo clever at adding revenue streams) used the for the room, getting in to the parks, fast pass, dining...... no problems what so ever. They also fit me and stay on!!! which is a major think I was worried about.

Yeah they worked great for us too, never had a problem. The one thing we never did with them was charge anything back to the room.

Yeah when I called them they said you could add gift cards to the magic bands online but I don't see where you can do that. We will just have them add them once we get there if able cause I don't want to screw anything up....LOL

so where is the best selection of add-ons at ? I saw Mrhub looked like he had a photo of a display..are the add ons only at the parks or resorts or both?

What you saw in the picture is all they have at the moment. They are available in resorts and in the parks but every place has the same selection.

Did you guys get your reservation at the Boardwalk yet? Just wondering...have not seen anything about it on here in a bit. Fingers crossed!

No we didn't and they take you off the waiting list a week before your trip... But I check every day and we will also check when we get there

The bands worked fine for us after the initial hiccup. I even swam in mine and it was fine. We found a sorcerer Mickey addition on the floor and so I tried wearing it and it just kept falling off. It caught on things really easily. Have a great trip enjoy yourselves

So we weren't even here for 5 mins and we already ran into Bobo and his wife. They are staying at AKL as well and saw us in the lobby.... He was like are you Mase.... We were like yeah... Lol..He was like I'm Bobo from the board and we love your videos.... That's how he recognized us... Lol... Not even here 5 mins and we already ran into someone from the board

We had them check when we got here and there wasn't anything... I'll keep checking every day but I'm not holding my breath on anything coming available
