The movie was really entertaining. It didn't have the heartstring pulling parts of Monsters Inc, but it was a grand ole time from start to finish.

And The Blue Umbrella ... they had to cheat. No way was that ALL CGI. Jaw droppingly beautiful.

PS: MU needs more Art!

Just watched a trailer on IMDb for another new Disney film........ Frozen. This is the first time I've seen anything on it, but it looks like,it could be very funny.

Loved it!! I think they did a great job. 5 stars!

The theater was packed.

As with most Disney and Pixar movies, do not leave the theater at the credits or you'll miss one of the funniest part of the movie.

I'm still panting trying to shuffle my way towards the kitchen.

And I agree, The Blue Umbrella is one heck of a clever Short. The storyline is predictable, but the way it is done is remarkable.

Zz.

It's at our local drive-in also. I am sorely tempted. Can't decide whether I'd rather have the fun of the drive-in or the better picture and sound quality at the indoor theater.

DO BOTH!!!! yay

A drive in sounds like fun. You could pretend you were at the Sci-Fi Dine in!!! I wish we had a drive in around here! I don't do well sitting still through movies (I have the attention span of a cranky 2 year old) but a drive in is on the bucket list!

I saw it this afternoon. I enjoyed it. I went with friends and their nieces who wanted to see it in 3D. I wish I hadn't spent the extra money on 3D. It could just be me, but I didn't think 3D added anything.

After the movie ended, I stayed in my seat waiting for this. My friends went to leave and I told there was something after the credits. We moved from our seats and waited in the aisle. I didn't think the credits were ever going to end. It was worth waiting for.

We did the drive in and I loved the movie! The whole family went and we really laughed. They two teenage boys thought it was much better than the first but I liked the first the better due to the sweetness of it! It was hard to see the umbrella clip at the drive in though. Too much commotion!

We saw it last Sunday and we enjoyed it, but im a nit picker and there were SO MANY plot holes that they messed up on, but thats just me. I would talk about them, but it would spoil the movie... lol.

But I enjoyed it. One of the better Pixar movies as of late.

Art. is. AWESOME! Every scene he's is in just cracks me up.

I WILL be wearing OK legwarmers sometime this Halloween season!! Smile

Did anyone who saw it get the feeling that the trees and some of the buildings were real? Like they were using a mixture of real life scenery with CGI??

We finally got to see it Saturday at the drive-in. Fun time. And the drive-in upgraded to digital this year so the picture quality was much better. (Sound was improved a few years back when they switched from sound boxes to radio broadcast.)

I didn't really get the feeling that there were any real trees/buildings, but maybe I wasn't looking closely enough. Could be, though, that computer animation is just that good now.

The moment I thought... wow... this looks incredibly real was in the real world when Sully finds Mike. Everything in that scene looked sooooo real. Even Sully looked incredibly life like.
